Description:  The Cycle shifting motor is a component compatible with specific LG, Kenmore washing machine models. It precisely controls spin cycle rotation speeds for a balanced extraction.   Located within the main tub assembly, this motor relies upon consistent transmission of rotational energy from the motor to the rotating drum. Extended heavy loads increase friction wear over decades.  Causes of failure involve brushes and commutator breakdown from constant high RPM cycling. Lubrication and electrical paths deteriorate together.
