Description: This Thermistor is a replacement part for select Kenmore, Maytag, Whirlpool brand dryer models. It is a temperature-sensing resistor that monitors air temperature changes during the drying cycle. The thermistor provides feedback to the control board on heating element performance and internal air condition. 

This is an aftermarket part that can be used as a replacement for the OEM part.
