Description This replacement water valve is a secondary dual water inlet valve compatible with specific Whirlpool, Maytag refrigerator models. It controls water flow to both the ice maker and water dispenser. When activated by an electrical signal, the valve opens to allow the proper amount of water into the refrigerator then closes again when finished. The dual inlet design separates the water supply for ice-making and drinking.
