If the connector doesn’t match, cut and splice wires using the included ceramic wire nuts. Install the new igniter, reassemble, and tuck excess wires near the gas safety valve to avoid heat exposure. Check the heat shield above the igniter for damage, as a melted shield can short the igniter.
