Description: This Dryer Thermostat Kit is a replacement part for specific Maytag, Whirlpool dryer models. This kit includes a high-limit thermostat and a thermal fuse, both of which are crucial for regulating the dryer’s temperature. The high-limit thermostat prevents the dryer from overheating, while the thermal fuse will cut off power if a critical temperature is exceeded, ensuring safety. The kit includes a high-limit thermostat (53-0771) and two thermal fuses (53-1096 & 53-1182).
