Description: This Washer Mode Shifter is a replacement part for specific GE washing machine models. This component is responsible for transitioning the washer between agitating and spinning modes. By engaging and disengaging the transmission or motor, the mode shifter allows the washer to shift from the wash cycle's agitation motion to the high-speed spin necessary to extract water from the laundry.
