⚠️ Disconnect Power And Let The Oven Cool Unplug the range or turn off its circuit breaker, and make sure the oven is completely cool before you start. Wear work gloves. Remove the two mounting screws and pull the element forward carefully, being careful not to let the lead wires slip back through the oven wall. Disconnect the wire terminals, connect the new element and secure it. If the oven still won't heat, the cause may be the control board, temperature sensor or wiring.
