Description: This Water Inlet Valve is a replacement part for select Whirlpool washing machine models. It controls the flow of water into the washer during the fill cycles, ensuring that the correct amount of water enters the tub for washing and rinsing. This valve is crucial for the proper functioning of the washing machine, as it regulates the water temperature and flow. Common causes of a bad water inlet valve can include mineral deposits from hard water, wear and tear over time, or electrical malfunctions. These issues can cause the valve to either not open or close properly, leading to water flow problems.
This is an aftermarket part that can be used as a replacement for the OEM part.
