⚠️ Unplug The Refrigerator Before Installing Unplug the refrigerator before you begin. Remove the screws at the top of the old assembly and detach it from the freezer wall, then unplug the wiring harnesses. Position the new assembly, aligning the mounting holes, and fasten it with the original screws. Reconnect the harnesses, plug the refrigerator back in, and hold the test/reset button for 3 seconds to start the ice maker. Allow time for the first ice to be made.
