Description

EXP694 Dryer Repair Kit Replaces DC97-16782A, 6602-001655, DC93-00634A

The EXP694 Dryer Repair Kit is a complete drum system rebuild solution designed to restore smooth, quiet, and efficient dryer operation. This kit includes the most common wear components found inside your dryer: drum belt, idler pulley, and drum support rollers.

Over time, these parts wear down together, causing squeaking, grinding, drum slippage, or complete failure to spin. Replacing all components at once ensures proper alignment, eliminates noise, and prevents repeat breakdowns — making this the most effective long-term repair solution.

Quick Answer

The EXP694 Dryer Repair Kit fixes dryers that won’t spin, make loud squeaking or grinding noises, or stop tumbling. It replaces the belt, rollers, and idler pulley to restore smooth and quiet drum operation.

Note: Includes four rollers (each with shaft and two tri-rings), one idler pulley, and one belt. Replace all four rollers for even wear. Inspect the drum and felt seal (e.g., DC97-07618A) for wear. Clean lint from the drum and cabinet to prevent overheating.

Common Problems This Part Fixes

  • Dryer drum not spinning or slipping
  • Loud squeaking, grinding, or thumping noises
  • Uneven or slow drum rotation
  • Dryer stopping mid-cycle
  • Excessive vibration or instability
  • Worn belt, rollers, or idler pulley components
