⚠️ Disconnect Power And Let The Oven Cool Before Installing Unplug the range or switch off its circuit breaker, and make sure the oven is cool. Wear work gloves. Pull the range out far enough to reach the back panel if needed. Remove the oven racks and any bottom cover, disconnect the element's wire leads, and remove the mounting screws or bracket. Fit the new element, reconnect the leads securely, and refit the cover. Restore power and test the oven.
