Description: This Belt is a replacement part for select Kenmore, Maytag, Whirlpool clothes dryer models. It is the drive belt responsible for transmitting rotational motion from the drum motor to the tumbling drum inside the dryer cabinet.  Causes of a bad belt include drying, cracking, and breakage due to age, heat exposure, or excessive stretching over repeated use. Lost elasticity means the belt can no longer handle high-speed drum rotation.

This is an aftermarket part that can be used as a replacement for the OEM part.
