⚠️ Unplug Washer Before Starting — Transfer Your Old Clamps To The New Hose Unplug the washer, or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance, before beginning. Wear work gloves. Remove the back panel of the washer, then the lower front access panel to access the drain hose connection. Place a towel down before disconnecting any hoses to catch any remaining water. Squeeze the clamp ring with pliers and remove the old hose from the outlet spout on the back of the washer, and disconnect the other end from your standpipe or drain connection. You'll need to transfer your existing hose clamps onto the new W11281268, since a new one isn't included. Fit the new hose over the outlet spout and squeeze the clamp back into place with pliers, then reconnect the other end to your house drain. Reinstall the lower front access panel and back panel. Restore power and run a test cycle to confirm the hose is secure with no leaks. Tools needed: pliers, work gloves, towel.
