Genuine OEM WH23X29940 Washer Cold Water Inlet Valve
The Genuine OEM GE WH23X29940 is the cold water inlet valve for select GE washers and laundry centers. It controls the flow of cold water into the washer. When the valve fails, the washer may not fill with cold water, may not fill at all, or may leak at the valve.
This is the original GE part, not an aftermarket equivalent. It is sold individually and is the cold water valve only. The hot water valve is a separate part, so check your model number and parts diagram before ordering.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug The Washer And Shut Off The Water Unplug the washer and shut off the hot and cold water supplies before you start. Water can remain in the hoses and valve, so have towels ready. Take a photo of the hose and wiring connections before disconnecting anything, then transfer them to the new valve in the same positions. Turn the water back on slowly and check for leaks before using the washer.
