Description: This Genuine OEM Part is a single water inlet valve designed for use in select Whirlpool refrigerator models. Its key function is to supply water to the refrigerator's ice maker and water dispenser. When energized, this valve releases water from the supply line into the ice mold. If the water valve develops a crack, it will need replacement. The valve accommodates two different sizes of tubing: the smaller inlet measures 1/4", and the larger inlet measures 5/16".
