XPARTCO 8547157 Dryer Drum Belt
The XPARTCO XP8547157 is a 95" drum drive belt with 4 ribs and 3 grooves for select Whirlpool and Kenmore dryers. It wraps around the drum, the motor pulley and the idler pulley, and transfers power from the motor to turn the drum. A worn, frayed or broken belt can make the dryer squeal or stop the drum from turning.
This is an aftermarket replacement from XPARTCO, made to replace Whirlpool part WP8547157. If you specifically need a genuine Whirlpool part, contact our support team. It is sold individually. Check your model number before ordering, because dryers use different belts.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug The Dryer First Unplug the dryer before you start, and wear work gloves. The belt wraps around the drum, the motor pulley and the idler pulley, so note how it is routed before removing it. Check that the idler pulley spins freely and replace it if it is worn or seized, because a bad idler can damage the new belt.
Frequently Asked Questions
My dryer squeals or the drum won't turn. Is the belt the fix?
Often. A worn or broken belt causes both. A worn or seized idler pulley can also cause squealing and can wear out a new belt, so check it when you replace the belt.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement from XPARTCO, made to replace Whirlpool part WP8547157. If you specifically need a genuine Whirlpool part, contact our support team.
Is 8547157 the same belt?
Yes. 8547157 is the earlier number for this belt, and Whirlpool replaced it with WP8547157. This XPARTCO belt is made to replace both.
Will this fit my dryer?
It is listed for many Whirlpool and Kenmore dryers, but the model list above is only a sample. Check your full model number against your parts diagram, or contact our support team and we'll verify it before you order.
