⚠️ Unplug Power And Shut Off Water Before Installing Unplug the washer and turn off the water supply before you begin, and wear work gloves. The pump is at the bottom of the washer, and installation involves partially disassembling it, so moving the washer away from the wall helps. Remove the bottom or back panel and drain any remaining water. Disconnect the drain hose and electrical plug, remove the mounting bolts, and take out the old pump. Fit the new pump, reconnect the hose and plug, and refit the panel. Restore power and water and run a drain cycle, checking for leaks.
