⚠️ Unplug Power Before Installing Unplug the dryer before beginning, and shut off the gas supply first on gas models. Wear work gloves, as internal parts and cabinet edges can be sharp. Remove the top and front panel as shown in your model's service guide, then slide the drum out, which is easier with a second person. Remove the old belt and route the new belt around the drum, the tension pulley, and the motor pulley as the old one ran, then reassemble in reverse order. Check the tension pulley and drum rollers while the drum is out and replace any that are worn.
