⚠️ Unplug Power and Shut Off Water Unplug the washer and turn off the water supply before starting. Work gloves are recommended. Open the lid and, following your model's service guide, remove the top panel or cabinet section to reach the lid lock mounted on the cabinet. Note the position of the old assembly, disconnect its wiring connector, and remove the screws holding it in place. Fit the new assembly in the same position, secure it, and reconnect the connector. Reassemble the washer, restore power and water, and run a short cycle to confirm the lid locks, the washer starts, and the lid releases at the end.
