⚠️ Shut Off Water Supply And Unplug Washer Before Starting Disconnect power at the outlet or shut off the circuit breaker, and shut off both hot and cold water supply valves at the wall before beginning. Wear work gloves. Unscrew the hot and cold supply lines from the bottom of the old valve, then carefully pull the valve assembly away from the wall for access. Photograph the wiring and hose connections before disconnecting anything, since this valve has two separate wire terminal sets and multiple outlet hoses. Remove the cover securing the valve in place, disconnect the electrical connectors and outlet hoses, and take out the old valve — the entire assembly typically comes out in one piece.
