⚠️ Unplug Dishwasher And Shut Off Water Supply Before Starting — Fully Engage The Spout Before Tightening The Clamp Disconnect power at the outlet or shut off the circuit breaker, and shut off the water supply before beginning. Wear work gloves. Open the dishwasher door and remove the racks to expose the bottom of the dishwasher. Locate the diverter assembly at the bottom of the unit and remove the two screws securing it in place. Disconnect the old assembly from the wash pump spout and any hose connections. Before tightening the hose clamp on the new assembly, make sure the diverter is fully and securely engaged with the spout on the wash pump. One customer had their diverter's tube cut when the clamp was tightened without the assembly being fully seated first — take your time to confirm a proper seat before applying clamp pressure. Secure the new WD19X25278 assembly in place with the two mounting screws. Reconnect any hose connections and reinstall the dish racks. Restore the water supply and power, then run a test cycle — ideally checking underneath the unit partway through — to confirm no leaking from the diverter area and correct water distribution to both spray arms. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, pliers, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
I'm seeing water pooling under my dishwasher. Is this the part I need?
Yes, this is a commonly documented symptom. If the diverter's rubber boot or hose connection has developed a leak, water can spray or drip during the wash cycle and collect underneath the unit. One customer traced their leak to a factory-defective hose in the diverter assembly, and unfortunately the leaking water had also gotten into their circulation pump motor over several loads, eroding the motor brushes — so it's worth inspecting the pump motor as well if you've had a diverter leak for a while before noticing it.
Any tips to avoid damaging the new part during installation?
Yes — make sure the new diverter is fully engaged with the spout on the wash pump before tightening the hose clamp. One customer's first replacement part was ruined because the clamp was tightened before the assembly was properly seated, which cut into the tube. Taking an extra moment to confirm a full, secure connection before clamping down prevents this.
Is this a difficult repair?
No, this is generally a DIY-friendly repair. It involves removing the dish racks, unscrewing two mounting screws to access the diverter at the bottom of the dishwasher, and swapping the assembly, typically without needing to pull the dishwasher out from under the counter.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine GE OEM part, but is manufactured to match the valve and float design, mounting configuration, and connections of the original WD19X25278 diverter assembly used in compatible GE, Hotpoint, Haier, Monogram, and Café dishwashers.

WD26X25103 Genuine OEM GE Dishwasher Variable Wash Pump Kit
The WD26X25103 is a genuine GE OEM variable wash pump kit for premium GE, Café, GE Profile, Monogram, Hotpoint, and Haier dishwashers. The wash pump is the heart of the cleaning system — it draws filtered water from the sump and drives it under pressure through the lower spray arm, the middle spray arm, and the upper wash manifold. What makes this a variable pump is its variable-speed motor: instead of running at one fixed speed, the control board modulates pump speed throughout the cycle, ramping pressure up for heavy soil and down for delicate loads, and shifting flow between spray zones. That is why a failing variable pump often produces uneven results — the bottom rack comes out clean while the top rack is barely wet.
This is a complete kit, supplied with the circulation pump assembly and its integrated wiring harness, so you are not transferring connectors from the old unit. Typical failure modes include worn motor bearings that produce a loud humming or grinding during the wash portion of the cycle, a seized or debris-jammed impeller, a shaft seal that begins weeping water into the base pan and trips the flood switch, and electrical failure of the variable-speed motor windings. It directly replaces WD26X22789, AP6973120, PS12730515, and EAP12730515. This is a moderate DIY repair — most people budget 1–2 hours.
Quick Answer
The WD26X25103 Genuine OEM GE Variable Wash Pump Kit fixes GE, Café, GE Profile, Monogram, Hotpoint, and Haier dishwashers with dishes that come out dirty or gritty, a top rack that isn't getting wet, weak or no spray arm rotation, loud humming or grinding during the wash cycle, or water pooling in the base pan from a leaking pump seal. Variable-speed motor; kit includes pump assembly plus integrated wiring harness. Replaces WD26X22789, AP6973120, PS12730515, EAP12730515. Fits premium CDT865/CDT866, PDT845/PDT846/PDT855, and ZDT915/ZDT975 platforms — not the same pump as WD26X23258.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Dishes not getting clean — food soil, grit, or film left behind after a full cycle
Top rack not getting wet or not getting cleaned while the bottom rack washes normally
Spray arms turning slowly or not turning at all — insufficient water pressure
Loud humming, whining, or grinding noise during the wash portion of the cycle
Dishwasher runs a full cycle quietly with no audible water circulation
Water pooling in the base pan under the dishwasher from a leaking pump shaft seal
Flood switch or leak sensor tripping and shutting the dishwasher down mid-cycle
Cleaning performance that has gradually declined over months as bearings wear
Pump motor humming but the impeller not turning — seized shaft or jammed impeller

Note: GE uses several different circulation pumps across its dishwasher lineup, and they are NOT interchangeable. The WD26X25103 is the variable-speed pump used on premium CDT/PDT/ZDT platforms. It is not the same part as the WD26X23258 circulation pump (GDT695/PDT825 platforms) or the WD26X22518 pump (PDF820/GDT535/ADT521 platforms). Fitting the wrong pump can result in a physical mismatch at the sump or a harness that will not mate with your control board. Always verify your full model number — including the suffix — before ordering. Contact our support team with your model number if you're unsure.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Disconnect Power And Shut Off Water Before Starting Turn off the dishwasher's circuit breaker and close the hot water supply valve under the sink before beginning. Wear work gloves — the tub edges and undercarriage brackets are sharp. Before condemning the pump, run a quick check: remove the lower spray arm and filter assembly, clear any glass chips, seeds, or labels from the sump, and confirm the spray arm ports are not blocked. A clogged filter screen produces the same "dishes not clean" complaint as a failing pump and costs nothing to rule out. To replace the pump, first remove the two screws securing the dishwasher to the underside of the countertop (or to the adjacent cabinets), disconnect the water line and drain hose, and slide the unit out. Most technicians then lay the dishwasher on its front or on its back to reach the pump — put a towel down to protect the door and finish. Photograph the hose routing and wiring before disconnecting anything. Release the two hose clamps and separate the two electrical connections, then unlock the pump from the sump housing — it typically twists to release from a bayonet-style mount — and lift it out. Inspect the sump gasket and seat while the pump is off; replace the gasket if it is hardened, flattened, or nicked. Install the new WD26X25103 in the same orientation, twist to lock, reattach both hoses with their clamps, and reconnect the harness. Reinstall the dishwasher, restore water and power, then run a full cycle and check underneath for leaks before pushing the unit all the way back and reattaching the mounting screws. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, nut driver, pliers or hose clamp pliers, towel, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
My top rack isn't getting clean but the bottom rack is fine. Is that the wash pump?
It's the signature symptom of a weakening wash pump, yes — but check two cheaper things first. The upper wash manifold and the middle spray arm are fed last and at the lowest pressure, so they are the first zones to suffer when pump output drops. However, a clogged filter screen or a spray arm with blocked ports will starve the upper rack the same way. Pull the lower spray arm and filter, rinse them under hot water, poke a toothpick through any blocked spray ports, and run a cycle. If the top rack is still dry or dirty after that, the variable pump is losing pressure and should be replaced.
What does "variable" mean on this pump, and does it matter?
It matters a great deal. A variable-speed pump lets the control board change pump speed during the cycle — higher pressure for heavy soil, lower for delicate loads, and different speeds when directing flow to different spray zones. A fixed-speed pump cannot do that. This is why you cannot substitute a standard circulation pump from another GE platform even if it physically resembles this one: the control board expects a variable-speed motor and will not drive a fixed-speed unit correctly.
The dishwasher is making a loud grinding noise. Do I need the whole pump?
Not always — check for foreign objects first. Glass chips, fruit pits, bones, and hard plastic bits routinely get past the filter and rattle inside the pump housing or wedge against the impeller. Remove the filter assembly and inspect the sump thoroughly with a flashlight. If the sump is clean and the noise is a steady hum or grind that rises with the wash cycle, the pump's motor bearings are worn and the complete kit is the correct repair. Bearing noise does not improve on its own and usually precedes a shaft seal leak.
I found water in the pan underneath the dishwasher. Could the pump cause that?
Yes. When the pump's shaft seal wears out, it weeps water down onto the base pan during every wash cycle. GE dishwashers have a flood switch in that pan, so the machine will eventually detect the water and shut itself down mid-cycle or refuse to start. Before ordering, confirm the water is coming from the pump and not from a loose hose clamp, a cracked sump, or the door gasket — dry the pan completely, run a short cycle, and watch where the first drops appear.
Does this kit include everything, or do I need to reuse parts from the old pump?
The kit ships with the wash pump assembly and its integrated wiring harness, so you will not need to cut, splice, or transfer the electrical connector from your old pump. You will reuse your existing hoses and clamps. Inspect the sump gasket while the pump is out and replace it if it looks hardened, flattened, or nicked — a tired gasket is a common cause of a "new pump that still leaks."
What's the difference between WD26X25103 and WD26X22789?
They are the same pump across production revisions. WD26X22789 was the earlier number and WD26X25103 is the current GE part number that supersedes it. If your dishwasher's parts diagram shows WD26X22789, this listing is the correct replacement — order it with confidence. The additional cross-references (AP6973120, PS12730515, EAP12730515) are catalog identifiers used by various parts distributors for the same kit.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a genuine OEM part, manufactured by GE to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance. It matches the original variable-speed motor profile, impeller geometry, flow rate, sump mounting interface, and harness connector of the pump originally installed in your dishwasher, which is important on this platform because the control board is calibrated to drive a variable-speed pump.

XPARTCO W10195039 Dishwasher Float Switch
The XPARTCO W10195039 is an aftermarket replacement float switch for Whirlpool-built dishwashers sold under the Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Kenmore, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Amana and related brand names. The float switch is the safety device that shuts off the water fill valve if the water level gets too high before the timed fill cycle ends, so a failed float can mean overfilling or a dishwasher that won't fill properly.
This is a direct-fit aftermarket replacement for the original Whirlpool float switch, which is sold as W10195039 and WPW10195039. Float problems can look like valve or control problems, so check the float for a stuck or damaged action before replacing it.
Quick Answer
The XPARTCO W10195039 Float Switch fixes a Whirlpool-built dishwasher that overfills, leaks from too much water, or won't fill because the float is stuck, damaged, or no longer switching. It is also listed as WPW10195039. Classic symptom: water keeps filling past the normal level, or the dishwasher won't fill and the float looks stuck or cracked.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Dishwasher overfills or the water level gets too high
Water leaking from too much water in the tub
Dishwasher won't fill because the float switch is stuck or failed
Float is cracked, broken, or doesn't move freely

⚠️ Disconnect Power and Shut Off the Water Unplug the dishwasher or switch off its circuit breaker, and turn off the water supply before beginning. Wear work gloves to protect your hands. Follow your model's service guide to reach the float switch, and note the position of each wire connector before disconnecting it. Install the new float switch in the same position, reconnect the wires, and check that the float moves freely before closing the dishwasher. Run a cycle and check for leaks.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the float switch do?
It shuts off the water fill valve if the water level gets too high before the timed fill cycle ends. It is a safety device that helps prevent overflow.
My dishwasher still won't fill. Will this fix it?
Only if the float is the cause. A dishwasher that won't fill can also have a bad inlet valve, a clogged inlet screen, or a control problem. Check that the float moves freely and test the valve first.
Is W10195039 the same as WPW10195039?
Yes. W10195039 is the older Whirlpool number and WPW10195039 is its replacement. This float switch covers both.
Will this fit my dishwasher?
It is listed for many Whirlpool-built dishwashers, but the model list above is only a sample. Check your model number against your parts diagram, or contact our support team and we'll verify it before you order.

WD08X23477 Genuine OEM GE Dishwasher Tub Seal Gasket
The WD08X23477 is a genuine GE OEM tub seal gasket designed specifically for GE dishwashers with a stainless steel tub. This gasket runs around the tub opening and creates the seal that keeps wash water contained inside the tub during the cycle rather than leaking out around the edges where the tub meets the door and surrounding cabinet structure.
Over time, this seal can flatten, harden, or develop gaps from years of heat and moisture exposure, which lets water escape past the seal instead of staying inside the tub. A worn or damaged gasket typically shows up as water leaking from underneath or around the front of the dishwasher during a cycle, dampness or pooling near the base of the unit, or visible flattening, cracking, or separation in the seal material itself. It directly replaces AP6041570 and PS11774413.
Quick Answer
The WD08X23477 Genuine OEM GE Dishwasher Tub Seal Gasket fixes GE dishwashers with a stainless steel tub that are leaking water from around the tub opening during a cycle. Replaces AP6041570, PS11774413. This gasket is specific to stainless steel tub models — it is not the plastic tub/door gasket used on other GE dishwasher designs, such as WD08X21894 or WD08X23476.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Water leaking from underneath or around the front of the dishwasher during a cycle
Dampness or pooling near the base of the dishwasher after running
Visible flattening, hardening, or cracking of the seal around the tub opening
Gaps or separation in the gasket where it meets the tub frame
Leak that appears intermittently, worse on longer or hotter cycles
Cross Reference Information
Part numbers can change over a product's lifecycle as manufacturers update designs or release new appliance models. For your convenience, we've included any known superseded, alternate, or cross-reference part numbers that match this item.
Replaces Part Numbers
This dishwasher tub seal gasket directly replaces the following OEM and cross-reference part numbers:
WD08X23477, WD08X22095, WD08X20675, 4466531, WD08X20591, AGE24098, AP6041570, EAP11774413, PD00052582, PS11774413
If your part number is not listed above, contact our support team before ordering and we will verify compatibility.
Compatibility
This tub seal gasket is compatible with select GE dishwashers equipped with a stainless steel tub, and also fits select Hotpoint, Haier, Monogram, and Café dishwashers built on the same GE platform.
Note — stainless steel tub only, and verify fit carefully: This gasket is designed specifically for GE's stainless steel tub design and is a different part from the gaskets used on plastic tub GE dishwashers (such as WD08X21894 or WD08X23476). Additionally, this seal has a documented fitment sensitivity — at least one customer has reported that on their unit, the older original seal had roughly 2 extra inches of material at the bottom that this replacement did not match, resulting in a persistent minor leak even after installation. Confirm your dishwasher has a stainless steel tub and verify your full model number before ordering. Contact our support team with your model number if you're unsure.
Key Features

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Dishwasher And Shut Off Water Before Starting — Verify Seal Length Against Your Original Disconnect power at the outlet or shut off the circuit breaker, and shut off the water supply before beginning. Wear work gloves. Access to the tub opening seal is typically from the front of the unit with the door open, though some models may require removing the door or surrounding trim to fully access the gasket channel. Before removing the old seal, take note of its full length and how it seats into the groove around the tub opening — some customers have found the replacement seal shorter than the original at one section, so compare the two side by side before discarding the old one. Carefully pull the old gasket free from its retaining groove, working around the full perimeter. Press the new WD08X23477 gasket into the same groove, working around the full perimeter and ensuring it seats evenly with no twists, gaps, or areas where it's pulled too tight. Run your fingers along the full seal after installation to confirm even, consistent contact with no visible gaps. Restore water and power, then run a test cycle and check underneath and around the front of the unit for any signs of leaking. Tools needed: flat-blade screwdriver (model-dependent access), work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my dishwasher has a stainless steel tub or a plastic tub?
Open the dishwasher door and look at the interior tub walls — a stainless steel tub has a visible metallic finish, while a plastic tub is typically a solid plastic color (often white, gray, or black) with no metallic sheen. This gasket is designed specifically for the stainless steel tub design; plastic tub models use a different gasket. If you're not sure, check your model number against your appliance's documentation or contact our support team.
I installed the new seal but I'm still seeing a small leak. What should I check?
This has been reported by at least one customer, who found their original seal had extra material at the bottom that this replacement didn't fully match, resulting in a persistent minor leak. Before assuming the gasket itself is faulty, run your fingers around the entire seal after installation to check for any spot where it isn't making even, firm contact — pay particular attention to the bottom section. If a specific area isn't sealing, it may need to be pressed more firmly into its groove, or in rare cases, your particular tub design may require a different seal than expected. Contact our support team with your model number if the leak persists after a careful reinstall.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a genuine OEM part, manufactured by GE to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance. It matches the original material, profile, and groove fit of the tub seal gasket originally installed in your stainless steel tub dishwasher.

XPARTCO DD31-00005A Dishwasher Drain Pump Motor
The XPARTCO DD31-00005A is an aftermarket replacement drain pump motor for Samsung dishwashers. This pump uses an internal impeller to force wastewater out of the tub and through the drain hose during the drain phase of the wash cycle — it's the component doing the physical work every time your dishwasher empties itself between cycle stages and at the end of the wash.
Rated 120V, 0.8A. Over time, the impeller can wear down, debris can jam the motor, or the motor windings themselves can fail electrically. A failing drain pump produces a very recognizable pattern: standing water left in the tub after a cycle finishes, water leaking from underneath the dishwasher, unusually loud or grinding noise during the drain phase, or a pump that audibly tries to run for a moment and then shuts off right away without actually clearing the water. It directly replaces AP4342621 and PS4222308.
Quick Answer
The XPARTCO DD31-00005A Dishwasher Drain Pump Motor fixes Samsung dishwashers that won't drain, leave standing water in the tub, leak underneath the unit, or run unusually noisy during the drain phase. 120V, 0.8A. Replaces AP4342621, PS4222308. This is the drain pump — not the same part as the wash/circulation pump (DD31-00004B), which handles spraying water during the wash itself rather than draining it afterward.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Dishwasher not draining — standing water left in the tub after a cycle
Water leaking from underneath the dishwasher
Unusually loud, grinding, or strange noise during the drain phase
Pump that tries to run briefly, then shuts off right away without draining
Dishwasher running noisily overall
Cycle that stalls or won't advance past the drain step

Note — drain pump, not wash pump: This is the drain pump, which removes wastewater from the tub. It is a different part from the DD31-00004B wash/circulation pump motor, which sprays water through the spray arms during the wash itself. Always verify your full model number before ordering. Contact our support team with your model number if you're unsure which pump your dishwasher needs.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Dishwasher And Shut Off Water Supply Before Starting — Remove Standing Water First Unplug the dishwasher and shut off the water supply before beginning. Wear work gloves. If there's standing water left in the tub from the original failure, remove as much as possible by hand with a cup or towel before starting the repair. Access to the drain pump is typically from underneath the unit, which can mean a tight working space — pulling the dishwasher partially out from under the counter, or working from the front after removing the lower access panel, makes this considerably easier depending on your installation. Photograph the wiring and hose connections before disconnecting anything. Disconnect the electrical connector and the drain hose connections from the old pump, remove its mounting screws or clips, and pull it free. Install the new DD31-00005A pump in the same position, reconnect the drain hose connections securely, and reconnect the electrical connector fully. Restore the water supply and power, then run a cycle and check underneath for leaks while confirming the tub drains completely at the end. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, pliers, towels or a small cup for removing standing water, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
My dishwasher pump tries to run for a second, then shuts off. Is that the drain pump?
Yes, this is a documented symptom of a failing drain pump motor — one customer described exactly this pattern, where the pump attempted to run and then shut off right away without actually clearing the standing water. This typically points to a motor that's jammed, worn, or electrically failing rather than a clog, since a simple clog usually lets the motor keep running (just ineffectively) rather than shutting off immediately.
Access to my drain pump is really tight. Is that normal?
Yes, this is a common challenge with under-counter dishwasher installations — the drain pump often sits low and toward the back, and reaching it can mean working in a cramped space regardless of the model. Removing standing water first and having patience with the process makes a real difference, and pulling the unit partially forward, if your installation allows it, can improve access significantly.
Is this the same as the wash pump on my dishwasher?
No. This DD31-00005A is specifically the drain pump, which removes wastewater from the tub. Your dishwasher's separate wash/circulation pump (DD31-00004B) is what sprays water through the spray arms during the actual wash portion of the cycle. If your dishwasher isn't cleaning dishes well but drains fine, the wash pump — not this drain pump — is more likely the issue.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine Samsung OEM part, but is manufactured to match the electrical rating, impeller design, and mounting configuration of the original DD31-00005A drain pump motor used in compatible Samsung dishwashers.

WPW10605057 Genuine OEM Whirlpool Dishwasher Pump & Motor Assembly
The WPW10605057 is a genuine Whirlpool OEM circulation pump and diverter motor assembly for Whirlpool, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Maytag, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Ikea dishwashers. This assembly pumps water up through the spray arms throughout the wash cycle, and the integrated diverter motor controls which spray arm receives that water at any given moment. This assembly includes the circulation pump and diverter motor only — it does not include the drain pump, which is a separate component on this platform.
Over time, the pump motor's internal windings can wear out or fail electrically, or the diverter mechanism can stick or bind. A failing assembly typically shows up as a dishwasher that isn't washing dishes properly because water isn't circulating through the spray arms, or leaking from underneath the unit. Whirlpool's own guidance recommends checking the motor's resistance with a multimeter if water isn't circulating, to confirm the assembly before replacing it. It directly replaces AP6023350, WPW10482502, W10482502, W10605057, 3021439, 3023239, PS11756692, W10236194, W10534160N, W10300740, and W10500285.
Quick Answer
The WPW10605057 Genuine OEM Whirlpool Dishwasher Pump & Motor Assembly fixes Whirlpool, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Maytag, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Ikea dishwashers that aren't washing dishes properly because water isn't circulating, or that are leaking from underneath. Includes the circulation pump and diverter motor — not the drain pump. Replaces WPW10482502, W10482502, W10605057, 3023239, W10300740, W10500285, AP6023350, AWP51141, PD00026666, PS11756692. ⚠️ Unplug Dishwasher And Shut Off Water Supply Before Starting Disconnect power at the outlet or shut off the circuit breaker, and shut off the water supply before beginning. Wear work gloves. Remove the lower dish rack, the impeller/spray arm, and the drain filter to access the interior floor of the tub. Working from underneath the dishwasher, release the drain hose from the pump using pliers, then hand-unscrew the drain pump and temperature sensor about a quarter-turn each, being careful to release the small clip holding the drain pump in place — leave both of these components in place, since they're not part of this replacement. Release the three levers that clamp the pump and motor assembly to the bottom of the dishwasher, positioned roughly at 0, 120, and 240 degrees around the assembly. Photograph the electrical connections before disconnecting anything, since keeping track of exactly how everything was wired makes reassembly straightforward. Pop the old assembly up and out through the bottom of the dishwasher. If your old assembly used a separate counterweight, transfer it to the new assembly. Install the new WPW10605057 assembly through the same opening, reconnect all electrical connections exactly as photographed, and re-engage the three clamping levers. Reconnect the drain pump, temperature sensor, and drain hose you set aside earlier. Reinstall the drain filter, spray arm/impeller, and lower rack. Restore water and power, then run a test cycle to confirm normal water circulation with no leaks underneath. Tools needed: multi-screwdriver, pliers, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
My dishwasher isn't cleaning dishes well. How do I know if this is the right part?
Whirlpool's own guidance recommends checking the pump motor's resistance with a multimeter first if water isn't circulating properly. If the motor tests outside its expected resistance range, or shows no continuity at all, that confirms this assembly has failed and needs replacing rather than a different component being at fault.
Should I replace the drain pump at the same time?
Not necessarily — this assembly doesn't include the drain pump, and if your dishwasher is washing normally but just not draining, the drain pump (a separate part) is the more likely cause rather than this circulation assembly. If both symptoms are present, it's worth checking both components, but they aren't sold together in this listing.
Do I need to replace the counterweight or reuse the old one?
If your dishwasher's original assembly used a separate counterweight component, transfer it from the old assembly to the new one during installation rather than assuming a new one is included. Check your specific model's parts diagram if you're not sure whether this applies to your dishwasher.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a genuine OEM part, manufactured by Whirlpool to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance. It matches the original pump design, diverter motor function, and mounting configuration of the circulation pump and motor assembly originally installed in your dishwasher.

WD21X25468 Genuine OEM GE Dishwasher Pressure Sensor Assembly
The WD21X25468 is a Genuine OEM GE replacement dishwasher pressure sensor assembly compatible with a wide range of GE, GE Profile, GE Café, Hotpoint, Haier, and Monogram dishwashers in the GDF, GDT, GDP, PDT, CDT, ZDT, QDP, and HDF series. The pressure sensor monitors water pressure inside the dishwasher tub during fill and drain cycles and sends real-time readings to the electronic control board. The control board uses these readings to calculate the correct amount of water needed for each wash cycle and to confirm that the tub has drained properly before advancing to the next cycle phase.
When the pressure sensor fails — or when it becomes clogged with grease, food residue, or mineral buildup — the dishwasher may not fill with water, may overfill, may stop mid-cycle, may fail to drain correctly, or may display error codes H2O or FTD (Failure to Drain). This Genuine OEM part is manufactured by GE to factory specifications. It directly replaces AP6976524, PS12741258, EAP12741258, 4962334, 37640602, and 265D3356P001. Sold individually. Installs in 15–20 minutes — a screwdriver is the only tool required for most models.
Quick Answer
The WD21X25468 Genuine OEM GE Dishwasher Pressure Sensor Assembly fixes GE dishwashers displaying error codes H2O or FTD (Failure to Drain), not filling with water, overfilling, stopping mid-cycle, or running excessive noise from the spray arms. Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Dishwasher and Shut Off Water Before Starting Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before beginning. On most compatible GE models, the pressure sensor is located near the bottom of the dishwasher tub, accessible after removing the lower front kick panel (secured by one or two screws). The sensor assembly connects to a small hose and a wiring harness connector. Tip: before replacing the sensor, remove it and inspect the pressure port and hose for grease, food residue, or mineral buildup — a clogged sensor port can cause H2O and FTD errors without the sensor itself being electrically failed. Clean the port and hose with warm water and a small brush, reinstall, and test the dishwasher. If the error codes persist after cleaning, replace the WD21X25468 sensor. To replace: disconnect the hose and wiring harness from the old sensor, unclip or unscrew the sensor from its mounting bracket, and install the new sensor in the same position. Reconnect the hose and harness, restore power and water, and run a test cycle. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the dishwasher pressure sensor do?
The pressure sensor monitors the water pressure — and therefore the water level — inside the dishwasher tub throughout the wash cycle. It sends continuous readings to the electronic control board, which uses the data to determine how much water to add during fill, when to stop filling, and whether the tub has drained completely before advancing to the next cycle phase. An accurate pressure sensor is essential for the dishwasher to fill to the correct level (not too much, not too little), wash with the correct spray arm pressure, and drain fully before moving on to rinse or dry cycles.
What do error codes H2O and FTD mean on GE dishwashers?
H2O error code on compatible GE dishwashers indicates that the dishwasher is not detecting enough water in the tub — either water is not filling at all, or the pressure sensor is not sensing the water that has filled. FTD (Failure to Drain) code indicates the dishwasher has not confirmed that the tub has drained within the expected time. Both codes can be caused by a faulty pressure sensor, a clogged sensor port, a failed fill valve, a blocked drain system, or control board issues. The pressure sensor should be inspected and tested first since it is the most accessible and commonly replaced component for these two error codes.
Should I try cleaning the sensor before replacing it?
Yes — absolutely. The pressure sensor on GE dishwashers can produce H2O and FTD error codes when its pressure port or connected hose becomes clogged with grease, food residue, or hard water mineral deposits — even if the sensor itself is electrically intact. Before ordering a replacement, remove the sensor, inspect the pressure port opening, and clean it thoroughly with warm water and a small brush. Flush the connected hose to clear any buildup. Reinstall and run a test cycle. If the error codes return, the sensor has electrically failed and needs replacement with the WD21X25468.
My dishwasher won't fill unless I pour water in manually first — is this the pressure sensor?
Yes — this is a classic symptom of a clogged or failed pressure sensor. When the sensor port is blocked, the sensor reads zero pressure (empty tub) even when the dishwasher starts. In some cases the control board interprets this as a drainage confirmation and will not initiate the fill cycle. Pouring water into the filter manually raises the physical water level enough to trigger filling. Check and clean the sensor port as described above. If cleaning does not resolve the issue, replace the WD21X25468 sensor.
Is this a Genuine OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a Genuine OEM part manufactured by GE to factory specifications. It is the exact same pressure sensor assembly installed in compatible GE, GE Profile, GE Café, Hotpoint, and related brand dishwashers from the factory — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance.
