XPARTCO W10730972 Washer Drain Pump Replaces WPW10730972
The XPARTCO W10730972 is an aftermarket replacement front-load washer drain pump and motor assembly compatible with a wide range of Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore, Amana, Inglis, and KitchenAid front-load washers — including the Whirlpool Duet, Maytag 2000/3000/4000 series, and Kenmore HE2/HE2T Plus. The drain pump removes water from the washer tub during the drain and spin phases of each wash cycle. When the pump fails, the washer will not drain, will leave standing water in the tub, stop mid-cycle, display error codes F21, F33, or SD, or leak from the pump area.
This complete assembly includes the motor, pump housing, and integrated filter — these components are only available as a complete assembly and are not sold separately. Rated 120V, 60Hz, 78W, 1.2A (CL.F duty class). Assembly dimensions are 8-3/4"L x 7"W x 5-1/4"H in off-white plastic housing. Note: Whirlpool redesigned this pump — the replacement may look different from the original but fits and functions identically. It directly replaces WPW10730972, W10130913, W10130913-B, 8540024, 8540025, 8540027, 8540028, 8540996, W10117829, W10183434, W10190647, W10190648, W10201457, AP6023956, PS11757304, and additional cross-reference numbers. Installs in 20–30 minutes with basic hand tools.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Washer and Shut Off Water Before Starting — Work Gloves Recommended Disconnect power and turn off the water supply before beginning. Place towels on the floor — residual water will drain when the pump is disconnected. The drain pump is accessed through the lower front panel of the washer. Remove the screws on the lower kick panel or snap panel to expose the pump access area. Before removing the pump, drain residual water by removing the coin trap/filter cap from the filter housing (have a shallow pan ready — up to a quart of water may flow out). After draining, disconnect the pump wiring harness. Release the drain hose clamps and disconnect the hoses from the pump. Unscrew or unclip the pump mounting hardware and remove the old pump. Transfer the hoses and wiring to the new W10730972 pump, secure the mounting hardware, and reinstall the front panel. Restore power and water, run a drain/spin cycle, and check for leaks. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, Torx screwdriver (T20 on some models), pliers, shallow pan, towels, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do error codes F21, F33, and SD mean on Whirlpool Duet and Maytag washers?
F21 indicates a long drain fault — the washer was unable to drain within the expected time (typically 8 minutes). F33 indicates a pump motor fault — the control board is not detecting the pump motor operating correctly. SD is a suds detection code that can also appear when drain issues prevent the suds from clearing properly. All three codes point toward the drain pump or a drain obstruction. Before replacing the pump, check and clean the coin trap filter — a clogged filter is one of the most common causes of F21 errors and clearing it often resolves the code without needing a new pump.
Should I check the coin trap filter before replacing the pump?
Yes — always check the coin trap filter before replacing the pump. On Whirlpool Duet and Maytag front-load washers, the coin trap filter is located inside the lower front access panel, typically behind a small cap or cover. Removing the cap and clearing lint, coins, and debris from the filter restores drain flow and clears F21/F33 errors in many cases without any part replacement needed. If the filter is clear and the pump still humbles or fails to drain, the pump needs replacement.
Why does the replacement pump look different from the original?
Whirlpool redesigned this drain pump assembly during its production lifecycle — the WPW10730972 replacement is physically larger than some of the older 8540024-series pumps it supersedes. Despite looking different, the redesigned pump uses the same hose and electrical connection points and is a direct fit in all compatible models. The larger housing is an intentional design improvement to increase pumping capacity. If the pump looks bigger than what you removed, this is normal and expected — install it in the same way as the original.
What is the difference between W10730972 and WPW10730972?
These are the same drain pump assembly. WPW10730972 is the updated Whirlpool OEM part number that superseded the original W10730972. The W10130913 and 8540024 are also cross-references for earlier versions of this same pump. This aftermarket replacement is compatible with all of these numbers.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine Whirlpool OEM part, but is manufactured to match the electrical specifications and performance of the original WPW10730972 drain pump assembly.

Genuine OEM 4317943 Refrigerator Ice Maker Kit
The 4317943 is a genuine OEM ice maker assembly kit from Whirlpool for Whirlpool-built refrigerators sold under the Whirlpool, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Amana, Roper, and related names. The ice maker is the unit in the freezer that fills with water, freezes it, and ejects the cubes into the ice bin. Over time, contacts corrode and the mechanism wears out, and the refrigerator may make little or no ice, make too much, or leak water from the unit.
This is a complete replacement ice maker, so you swap the whole unit rather than hunting for a failed internal component. As a genuine OEM part, not an aftermarket equivalent, it matches the original factory fit and specification. The kit does not include the shut-off arm. Transfer the arm from your original ice maker, or order the arm for your model.

XPARTCO 279838 Dryer Heating Element
The XPARTCO 279838 is an aftermarket replacement heating element for Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag, Amana, Roper, Estate, Crosley, Admiral, Inglis, KitchenAid, and Jenn-Air electric dryers. This element is the source of virtually all the heat in the dryer: current flows through a nickel-chromium coil, which glows and radiates heat as the blower pushes air across it and into the drum. This part is often nicknamed the "shorty" because of its compact size compared to the larger, older Whirlpool element it replaced, part number 4391960 — the shorty design is used on dryers with the lint filter positioned on the top right near the control housing.
Over years of use, the coil typically fails with a visible break somewhere along its length — a section simply burns through and the circuit opens, cutting off heat entirely. A quick way to check: a healthy element reads approximately 9 to 10 ohms across its terminals with a multimeter; a reading of no resistance (open circuit) confirms the element has failed. This element shares the same dryer platform as our WP3392519 thermal fuse and works alongside a cycling thermostat and high-limit thermostat in the same heating circuit — all commonly checked or replaced together when a dryer stops heating. It directly replaces 279837, WP279837, 2438, 279838VP, 279838A, 3398063, 3398064, 3403585, 8565582, W10724237, AP3094254, AH334313, EA334313, PS334313, and PS3343130.
Quick Answer
The XPARTCO 279838 Dryer Heating Element fixes Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag, Amana, Roper, Estate, Crosley, Admiral, Inglis, KitchenAid, and Jenn-Air electric dryers with no heat, insufficient heat, or drying times that have gotten noticeably longer. Also called the "shorty" element. Replaces 279837, WP279837, 2438, 279838VP, 279838A, 3398063, 3398064, 3403585, 8565582, W10724237, AP3094254, AH334313, EA334313, PS334313, PS3343130. A healthy element reads approximately 9-10 ohms with a multimeter; if the dryer has no heat at all, also check the thermal fuse (such as our WP3392519 listing) before assuming the element is at fault — a blown fuse produces the identical symptom.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Dryer runs a full cycle but produces no heat at all
Dryer produces some heat, but not enough to dry clothes properly
Drying times that have gotten noticeably longer than they used to
Clothes coming out cold or barely warm at the end of a cycle
Visible break or burned-through section in the heating coil
Element that reads no resistance (open circuit) on a multimeter continuity or ohms test
Dryer that heats inconsistently, cycling on and off unexpectedly

⚠️ Unplug Dryer Before Starting — Test Resistance Before Assuming It's The Element Disconnect power at the outlet or shut off the circuit breaker before beginning. Wear work gloves. Access is typically through the rear panel or the front, depending on your model, to reach the heater duct/blower housing area where the element is mounted. Before removing anything, inspect the old element visually for a break in the coil — sometimes you can see it directly, or feel it by gently wiggling each section of the coil. If nothing is visibly broken, test with a multimeter: place one probe on each terminal and look for a reading of approximately 9-10 ohms on a good element; no resistance at all confirms the element has failed. Photograph the wiring before disconnecting anything. Disconnect the wire terminals from the old element, remove the mounting screws or clips holding it in the duct housing, and pull it free. Install the new 279838 assembly in the same position, reconnect the wire terminals, and secure the mounting hardware — if the original connection wire shows burning or damage, replace it as well rather than reusing a damaged connector. Reassemble the panel, restore power, and run a test cycle to confirm the dryer is heating normally. Tools needed: 1/4" nut driver, 5/16" wrench, Phillips screwdriver, multimeter, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I test whether the element is actually bad?
Start with a visual inspection — often you can see a break directly in the coil, or find it by gently wiggling each section to check for a loose or separated point. If nothing is visible, use a multimeter set to ohms and place one probe on each terminal. A good element typically reads approximately 9 to 10 ohms; a reading of no resistance at all (open circuit) confirms the element has failed and needs replacing.
My dryer has no heat at all. Should I replace the element first, or check something else?
Check the thermal fuse first, since a blown fuse produces the exact same "no heat at all" symptom as a failed heating element and is a cheaper, faster part to test and replace — our WP3392519 listing covers the thermal fuse used on this same dryer platform. If the fuse tests good and the dryer still has no heat, the element itself is the next thing to test.
What's the difference between this "shorty" element and the older 4391960?
Both are Whirlpool dryer heating elements, but this 279838 is a more compact design used on dryers with the lint filter positioned on the top right near the control housing, while 4391960 is the larger, older element used on earlier Whirlpool dryer platforms. They are not interchangeable, so confirm which style your dryer uses — checking your model number or comparing the physical size of your old element — before ordering.
Should I check the connection wire while I'm replacing the element?
Yes, it's worth a look. The wire connecting to the element terminals can occasionally show burning or damage if the element was arcing or overheating before it failed. If you notice any discoloration, melting, or damage on the connection wire, replace it along with the element rather than reusing a compromised connector.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine Whirlpool OEM part, but is manufactured to match the nickel-chromium coil composition, resistance rating, compact "shorty" form factor, and terminal configuration of the original 279838 heating element used in compatible Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag, Amana, Roper, and related dryers.

ADQ74793504 Refrigerator Water Filter
Description: This water filter is designed to remove impurities from the water and ice dispensed by your refrigerator, providing clean and fresh-tasting water. It effectively reduces contaminants such as chlorine, lead, mercury, and other particulates, ensuring safe drinking water for you and your family. You should replace this water filter if it becomes clogged or reaches the end of its usable life, typically every six months. Causes of a bad water filter can include normal usage leading to clogging, the accumulation of sediments and impurities over time, or damage to the filter casing. Failing to replace the filter regularly can also compromise its effectiveness.

XPARTCO 280187 Washer Drain Pump Assembly
The XPARTCO 280187 is an aftermarket replacement drain pump assembly for Whirlpool-built front-load washers sold under the Whirlpool, Kenmore, Kenmore Elite, Maytag, KitchenAid, and Amana names. The drain pump pushes water out of the tub through the drain hose at the end of the wash and rinse stages. When it clogs, wears out, or seizes, the washer can stop with water still in the drum, throw drain errors, stop before the spin cycle, leak, or make loud humming or grinding noises.
This is a complete drain pump assembly, including the pump motor and housing, so it replaces the whole unit rather than just an internal part. The pump sits at the base of the washer behind the lower front panel, and the swap typically takes 15–30 minutes with common hand tools.

⚠️ Unplug Power and Expect Water Unplug the washer and turn off the water supply before starting. Remove the lower front panel to reach the pump at the base of the washer, then drain any residual water into a shallow pan or with a wet/dry vacuum, using the drain hose or the small drain cap if your model has one. Disconnect the wiring harness from the pump, then loosen the clamps holding the hoses and pull the hoses off. Remove the pump's mounting screw and take out the old pump. Fit the new pump in the same position, reattach the hoses with the clamps (replace worn clamps if needed), and reconnect the wiring harness. Check that the pump and hose connections are secure, replace the front panel, restore power and water, and run a drain cycle while checking for leaks. Common tools include a nutdriver or Torx driver, screwdrivers, and pliers.
Frequently Asked Questions
My washer won't drain. Is this the part I need?
A failed or clogged drain pump is one of the most common causes. Before replacing it, check the drain hose and the pump filter for a clog, such as a sock or coin. If the filter is clear but the pump hums, grinds, or doesn't run, replacing the pump should fix it.
Does this include the pump motor?
Yes. This is the complete assembly, with the pump motor and housing.
My old pump is marked 285998, 8181684, 8182819, or 8182821. Will this work?
Yes. All of those are earlier Whirlpool numbers for this pump, and 280187 is the current number.
Will this fit my top-load washer?
It is intended for front-load washers. Contact our support team with your model number if you're unsure, and we'll confirm before you order.
Is this an OEM part?
No. This is an XPARTCO aftermarket replacement built to match the Whirlpool 280187. If you prefer a genuine OEM pump, contact us.

XPARTCO DC31-00187A Washer Drain Pump Motor
The XPARTCO DC31-00187A is an aftermarket replacement washer drain pump motor compatible with select Samsung front-load and top-load washers in the WA4, WA5, WF2, WF3, WF4, and WF5 series, as well as select Kenmore washers built on the Samsung platform. The drain pump motor drives the impeller that expels water from the washer tub during the drain phase of each wash cycle. When the motor fails, the washer will not drain, will leave standing water in the tub, stop mid-cycle, or display error codes 5C, SE, SC, 5E, or SUDS.
This motor-only assembly includes the pump motor, impeller, and replacement O-ring. Rated 120V, 60Hz, 80W, 1.1A (CL.F), with a 30-minute on / 30-minute off duty cycle. Dimensions: 4-1/4"L x 3"W x 4-1/4"H in gray/white/black plastic, metal, and rubber housing. The DC31-00187A is the motor component that installs into the existing pump housing on compatible Samsung washers — the pump housing (DC97-20621C assembly) is reused from the old pump, making this a motor-only swap rather than a complete pump replacement. It directly replaces DC31-00187D, DC31-00178A, DC31-00178D, PX3516-01, 03DC3100187A, 4958525, AP6977256, EAP9605762, PD00056512, PS9605762, and PS1274262. Installs in 20–30 minutes with basic hand tools.

Note: The DC31-00187A is the pump motor only — it installs into the existing pump housing (DC97-20621C assembly) which is retained from the old pump. The housing is not replaced. Check and clean the drain filter before replacing the pump motor — a clogged filter is a common cause of drain errors that doesn't require motor replacement.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Washer and Shut Off Water Before Starting — Wear Gloves Disconnect power and turn off the water supply before beginning. Wear work gloves — there are sharp edges inside the washer cabinet. For front-load models: remove the lower front access panel to expose the pump housing and filter. Drain residual water via the filter drain hose (have a shallow pan ready). Disconnect the wire harness from the motor. On most Samsung front-load models, the motor assembly twists out of the pump housing by rotating counter-clockwise — do not force it. Remove the old motor, note the O-ring position, and install the new O-ring from this kit onto the new DC31-00187A motor. Insert the new motor into the housing and twist clockwise to lock. Reconnect the wire harness. Reinstall the lower panel, restore power and water, and run a drain/spin cycle to confirm drainage. For top-load models: access through the lower front panel or by tilting the washer on its side depending on model. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, pliers, shallow pan, towels, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between DC31-00187A and DC97-20621C?
The DC31-00187A is the drain pump motor — the electrical component that drives the impeller. The DC97-20621C is the complete drain pump assembly, which includes the motor plus the outer pump housing, hose connection ports, and mounting hardware. When you order the DC31-00187A, you replace only the motor and reuse the existing DC97-20621C pump housing. When you order the DC97-20621C, you replace the entire assembly including the housing. Both resolve the same drain fault — the DC31-00187A is the more targeted repair when the housing is in good condition.
What error codes indicate a drain pump motor failure?
Error codes 5C, SE, SC, 5E, and SUDS on compatible Samsung washers all indicate a drain fault — the washer was unable to drain within the expected time. Before replacing the motor, clean the drain filter/coin trap at the lower front panel. A clogged filter is one of the most common causes of these error codes and does not require motor replacement. If the filter is clear and the codes persist, or if the pump is making loud noise or is completely silent during the drain phase, the motor needs replacement.
What is the difference between DC31-00187A and DC31-00178A?
These are cross-references for the same or very similar Samsung drain pump motor used across different Samsung washer generations. The DC31-00178A was used on earlier Samsung models and the DC31-00187A is the current version. Both are commonly listed as interchangeable replacements for each other in Samsung washer drain pump repair. The DC31-00187D and DC31-00178D are also variants of the same motor from different production runs.
Should I clean the filter before replacing the pump motor?
Yes — always check and clean the drain filter first. On Samsung front-load washers, the filter is accessible behind the lower front kick panel, typically on the right side — remove the cap slowly and drain water into a shallow pan first. Lint, coins, debris, and hair are very common causes of Samsung drain error codes that are completely resolved by cleaning the filter without any parts replacement. If the filter is clear and the error codes persist, the pump motor is the next component to replace.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine Samsung OEM part, but is manufactured to match the electrical specifications and performance of the original DC31-00187A drain pump motor.

4681EA2001T Genuine OEM LG Washer Drain Pump Motor
The 4681EA2001T is a genuine LG OEM drain pump motor for LG and Kenmore front-load washers, and also fits washer/dryer combo units. This motor is responsible for removing water from the washer at the end of the wash and spin cycles, expelling it through the drain hose so the machine can move on to the next stage of the cycle.
This part is the motor only — you'll reuse your existing pump housing. It includes the pump impeller, which is not sold separately. Rated 120V-127V, 60Hz, 85W, 1.4A, with a flow rate of 45L per minute. Measures approximately 6.57" x 4.29" x 3.5". As of April 2025, the design of this drain pump motor changed to a gray housing, replacing the earlier black housing — this is expected and doesn't affect fit or function. Common failure causes include a worn or seized motor and general electrical wear. Symptoms of a failing drain pump motor include the washer not draining, unusual noise during the drain cycle, an OE error code, or leaking near the pump if the motor fails while still under load. It directly replaces 4681EA2001D, 4681EA2001U, 4681EA2001N, 4681EA1007G, 4681EA1007D, LP2001T, AP5328388, 2003273, 1468049, DP040-038, EAP3523278, EAP3579318, and 5214FR4006L.
Quick Answer
The 4681EA2001T Genuine OEM LG Washer Drain Pump Motor fixes LG and Kenmore front-load washers (and washer/dryer combos) that aren't draining, are making unusual noise during the drain cycle, or are showing an OE error code. 120V-127V, 60Hz, 85W, 1.4A, 45L/min. Replaces 4681EA2001D, 4681EA2001U, 4681EA2001N, 4681EA1007G, 4681EA1007D, LP2001T, AP5328388, 2003273, 1468049, DP040-038, EAP3523278, EAP3579318, 5214FR4006L. This is the motor only — reuse your existing pump housing when installing. As of April 2025, the new housing color is gray instead of the older black; this is a normal design change and not a compatibility issue.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Washer not draining — standing water left in the tub after a cycle
Unusual noise during the drain cycle
OE error code displayed on the control panel
Washer taking longer than normal to drain
Leaking near the pump area

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Washer And Shut Off Water Supply Before Starting — Have Towels Ready For Draining Water Disconnect power at the outlet or shut off the circuit breaker, and shut off the water supply before beginning. Wear work gloves. Lay towels down in front of the washer before starting, and have a pail ready. Remove the detergent drawer and check the drain filter (bottom lower left panel door) to confirm it's clean and the drain line isn't blocked before assuming the motor is at fault. Many customers find it easier to access the pump from underneath by carefully laying the washer on its back — be prepared for a significant amount of additional water to drain out onto the floor once you do this, so keep towels close by. With access to the pump, disconnect the electrical connector from the old motor and separate the motor from the pump housing, which you'll reuse with the new motor. Attach the new 4681EA2001T motor to your existing pump housing, transferring the impeller setup as needed. Reconnect the electrical connector fully. Stand the washer back upright, reinstall the detergent drawer, and reconnect the water supply and power. Test the new pump to confirm it drains properly before considering the repair complete. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, locking pliers, needle nose pliers, small flathead screwdriver, towels, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
My washer shows an OE error code and isn't draining. Is this the part I need?
Likely yes. An OE error code on LG washers is commonly tied to a drain issue, and a bad drain pump motor is one of the most frequent causes. Before replacing the motor, it's worth checking that the drain filter and coin trap (if your model has one) are clean and that the drain line itself isn't blocked, since those are simpler and cheaper things to rule out first.
Does this come with the pump housing?
No, this is the motor only, and it includes the pump impeller, which isn't sold separately. You'll reuse your existing pump housing during installation rather than replacing it as part of this repair.
The new motor's housing looks a different color than I expected. Did I get the wrong part?
No, this is expected. As of April 2025, LG changed the design of this drain pump motor to use a gray housing in place of the earlier black housing. This is a normal manufacturing update and doesn't affect fit or function.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a genuine OEM part, manufactured by LG to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance. It matches the original motor design, impeller, and electrical rating of the drain pump motor originally installed in your washer.

Genuine OEM GE Range Hood Part

A complete manufacturer-approved blower assembly designed to circulate air and help remove cooking grease, smoke, steam, and odors from the kitchen.
Product Overview
The GE WB26X30785 Range Hood Blower Motor Assembly is the main air-moving component inside compatible range hoods.
