XPARTCO W11168743 Washer Water Valve (Hot Side)
The XPARTCO W11168743 is an aftermarket replacement hot water inlet valve for Whirlpool-built top-load washers. This is a single-solenoid valve dedicated to the hot water supply — it has one hose fitting inlet and one water outlet, and its only job is to open when the control calls for hot water and close again once the correct fill level is reached. This platform pairs the hot valve with a separate two-solenoid cold valve (sold separately as W11168740), so the hot and cold sides are independent components rather than one combined valve body.
Because it's a dedicated single-function valve, a failure here produces a distinctive symptom: hot-only fills stop working or slow down dramatically, while cold fills (governed by the separate cold valve) continue working normally on their own. Common failure causes include mineral or sediment buildup that prevents the valve from sealing fully, a burned-out solenoid coil, or a worn rubber grommet or gasket at the push-on outlet connection. It directly replaces WPW10240948, W10240948, W10921515, 33390068, 4585634, AP6327638, PS12348074, and EAP12348074.
Quick Answer
The XPARTCO W11168743 Washer Water Valve (Hot Side) fixes Whirlpool-built top-load washers where hot water won't fill, fills slowly, overfills, leaks into the drum when off, or fails to stop filling. Single-solenoid hot-only valve, 120V, 60Hz, standard hose fitting inlet with push-on outlet connection. Replaces WPW10240948, W10240948, W10921515, 33390068, 4585634, AP6327638, PS12348074, EAP12348074. This is the hot-side valve only — the companion cold-side valve is sold separately as W11168740.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Washer won't fill with hot water while cold water fills normally
Hot water fills much more slowly than it used to

⚠️ Shut Off Water Supply And Unplug Washer Before Starting — Have A Towel Ready Unplug the washer or shut off its circuit breaker, and shut off both the hot and cold water supply valves before beginning. Wear work gloves. Disconnect the hot water supply hose from the back of the valve first — have a towel or shallow pan ready, since residual water will spill out. Remove the rear screws securing the top panel, then slide the panel back and lift it off to access the valve assembly from inside the cabinet. Photograph the wiring connections before disconnecting anything, since the hot and cold valves sit next to each other and it's easy to cross a wire. Disconnect the electrical connector from the old hot valve, disconnect the push-on outlet hose (check the rubber grommet for wear and replace it if it looks flattened or cracked), remove the mounting screw or bracket, and pull the valve free — leave the cold valve (W11168740) undisturbed if it isn't also being replaced. Install the new W11168743 in the same position, secure the mounting screw, reconnect the electrical connector, and press the outlet hose back onto its fitting with the grommet properly seated. Reattach the hot water supply hose, tightening securely by hand plus a partial turn with pliers. Reinstall the top panel, restore the water supply, and check every connection you touched for leaks before restoring power. Run a short cycle and confirm hot water fills at the normal rate with no leaking underneath or behind the washer. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, nut driver, pliers, towel or shallow pan, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
Hot water won't fill but cold water works fine. Is this the right part?
Yes — that's exactly the symptom pattern this valve addresses. Since your washer uses separate hot and cold valves rather than one combined valve, a fault on the hot side only affects hot fills while the cold valve keeps working independently. If hot-specific cycles are the ones failing while cold cycles are unaffected, this hot-side valve is the correct part to replace.
Do I need to replace both the hot and cold valves at the same time?
Not necessarily. Since these are independent single-function valves, you only need to replace the one that's actually failed. If only hot fills are affected, replacing this W11168743 valve alone is sufficient. Some people choose to replace both while the top panel is already off, especially on an older washer, but it isn't required.
Is this the same valve used on your front-load washer listings?
No. This valve is built for Whirlpool's top-load platform. The front-load hot/cold valve pair in our catalog (W11688994 and W11688995) is a completely different part family for a different washer design, and the two are not interchangeable. Always check whether your washer is a top-load or front-load model, and verify your exact model number, before ordering either.
My washer has no hot water at all, but the water heater is working. What should I check first?
Before assuming the valve has failed, confirm the hot water supply valve at the wall behind the washer is fully open, check the inlet screen inside the valve port for sediment or debris that could be restricting flow, and make sure the hot supply hose isn't kinked. If those check out and hot water still isn't reaching the drum, the valve itself is the likely cause.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine Whirlpool OEM part, but is manufactured to match the single-solenoid design, connection type, and dimensions of the original W11168743 hot water valve used in compatible Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Inglis, and related top-load washers.

XPARTCO WH13X26637 Washer Water Valve
The XPARTCO WH13X26637 is an aftermarket replacement quad water inlet valve for GE top-load washers, and also fits select Hotpoint, Haier, Monogram, RCA, Café, and Kenmore models. This valve controls the flow of water into the washer from the household supply line, using two internal valves — each with its own wire terminals — to manage water flow and temperature blending for the wash cycle. When the control calls for a fill, the corresponding solenoid opens to admit water and closes once the correct level is reached.
Rated 120V, 6/5W. Common failure causes include mineral or sediment buildup inside the valve body, a burned-out internal solenoid coil, and general wear over years of use. A failing valve produces a clear set of symptoms: the washer not starting, an error code related to water fill, or — one of the most common complaints — water continuing to drip into the tub between cycles even when the washer isn't running, since a worn internal seal can fail to shut off completely. It directly replaces WH13X24058, 4546358, AP5999608, AP6282070, EAP11729480, EAP12171559, PS11729480, PS12171559, WH13X26637-25PK, AGE26282, and PD00037665.
Quick Answer
The XPARTCO WH13X26637 Washer Water Valve fixes GE top-load washers (and select Hotpoint, Haier, Monogram, RCA, Café, and Kenmore models) that won't start, show a water-fill error code, or have water dripping into the tub between cycles. Quad valve design — 2 valves, each with its own wire terminals. 120V, 6/5W. Replaces WH13X24058, 4546358, AP5999608, AP6282070, EAP11729480, EAP12171559, PS11729480, PS12171559, WH13X26637-25PK, AGE26282, PD00037665. Dripping into the tub between cycles, even with the washer off, is a classic sign of a worn valve seal that isn't shutting off completely.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Washer won't start
Error code related to water fill displayed on the control panel
Water dripping into the tub between cycles, even when the washer isn't running
Washer filling slowly or only partially
No hot water reaching the tub, or no cold water reaching the tub
Cycle stalling at the fill step and never advancing to wash

⚠️ Shut Off Water Supply And Unplug Washer Before Starting Disconnect power at the outlet or shut off the circuit breaker, and shut off both hot and cold water supply valves at the wall before beginning. Wear work gloves. Unscrew the hot and cold supply lines from the bottom of the old valve, then carefully pull the valve assembly away from the wall for access. Photograph the wiring and hose connections before disconnecting anything, since this valve has two separate wire terminal sets and multiple outlet hoses. Remove the cover securing the valve in place, disconnect the electrical connectors and outlet hoses, and take out the old valve — the entire assembly typically comes out in one piece. Insert the new WH13X26637 into the same opening, making sure it fits tightly and securely, and secure it with screws. Reconnect all outlet hoses to their original positions, reconnect the electrical connectors fully, and put the cover back on. Reconnect the hot and cold supply lines, tightening securely. Turn the water supply back on and check for leaks before restoring power. Run a full test cycle across a few different temperature settings to confirm each fill function works correctly with no leaking. Tools needed: screwdriver, spanner, pliers or adjustable wrench, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
Water keeps dripping into my washer tub even when it's not running. Is this the valve?
Yes, this is one of the most common symptoms of a failing valve, and a well-documented one for this exact part. If you've already checked the hoses and confirmed they're not the source of the leak, a worn internal seal in the valve is the most likely remaining cause — the seal fails to shut off completely, letting a small amount of water continue dripping through even between cycles. Shutting off the water supply is a temporary workaround, but replacing the valve is the permanent fix.
Why does this valve have two sets of wire terminals?
This is a quad valve design, meaning it houses two separate internal valves in one assembly, each with its own electrical connection. This allows the washer to independently control different water functions — such as hot and cold fill — from a single combined unit rather than requiring two completely separate valve housings.
Is this a top-load or front-load washer valve?
This is a top-load washer valve, compatible with GE's GTW and PTW model series. It's a different valve design from the ones used on GE's front-load washer platforms, so confirm your washer type and model number before ordering.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine GE OEM part, but is manufactured to match the quad valve design, wattage, and connection type of the original WH13X26637 valve used in compatible GE, Hotpoint, Haier, Monogram, RCA, Café, and Kenmore top-load washers.

XPARTCO 5221ER1003S Washer Water Valve
The XPARTCO 5221ER1003S is an aftermarket replacement cold water inlet valve for LG and select Kenmore front-load washers. This valve sits underneath the top panel, at the point where the cold water supply hose connects, and it's the gatekeeper for cold water entering the tub. When the control calls for a cold fill, it energizes the valve's solenoid to open, admitting water; once the correct level is reached, it closes again. This part controls the cold water side specifically — hot fills on these washers are governed by a separate valve.
Rated 12V and terminated with small male spade connectors, this valve measures approximately 4.75"H x 3.25"W x 2.25"L, with a gray plastic and metal housing. Over time, rust and mineral buildup inside the valve body — a documented failure point on this platform — can prevent it from sealing fully, which lets water continue flowing even after the valve is told to close. A washer that keeps filling even while draining, or that leaks steadily at the cold connection, is a strong sign of exactly this kind of stuck-open valve failure. Other failure modes include a burned-out solenoid coil and general wear from age. It directly replaces 4869496, AP6798394, PS12587936, and EAP12587936, and is also cross-referenced to the related 5221ER1003A part number.
Quick Answer
The XPARTCO 5221ER1003S Washer Water Valve fixes LG and select Kenmore front-load washers where cold water won't fill, fills slowly, keeps filling continuously (even while draining), or leaks at the water connection. 12V cold water inlet valve, small male spade terminals, 4.75"H x 3.25"W x 2.25"L. Replaces 4869496, AP6798394, PS12587936, EAP12587936. Rust and mineral buildup inside the valve body is a documented cause of it sticking open — check for rust at the connection before you order.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Washer won't fill with cold water at the start of the cycle
Cold water fills much more slowly than it used to
Washer keeps filling continuously, even while water is simultaneously draining out
Water leaking steadily at the cold water connection point
Visible rust or mineral buildup around the valve body or connection
Cycle stalling at the fill step and never advancing to wash
Water pooling underneath or behind the washer near the cold supply line
Cold wash or cold rinse cycles specifically affected while other cycles run fine
Cross Reference Information
Part numbers can change over a product's lifecycle as manufacturers update designs or release new appliance models. For your convenience, we've included any known superseded, alternate, or cross-reference part numbers that match this item.
Replaces Part Numbers
This washer cold water inlet valve directly replaces the following OEM and cross-reference part numbers:
5221ER1003S, 5221ER1003A, 4869496, AP6798394, PS12587936, ALG51905, PD00057211, EAP12587936
If your part number is not listed above, contact our support team before ordering and we will verify compatibility.
Compatibility
This cold water inlet valve is compatible with select LG front-load washers, and also fits select Kenmore front-load washers built on the LG platform, including model numbers such as:
LG WM4000HBA, WM4000HWA, WM3400CW, WM3470CW
LG W3600HVA
Kenmore WKE100HVA (select LG-built models)
Note — cold side only: This is the cold water valve. Some LG front-load washers use a separate hot water valve for the hot supply connection — if hot water fills normally but cold does not, this valve is the correct part; if the issue affects both hot and cold fills, the problem may lie elsewhere in the fill circuit. This valve is specific to LG's front-load platform and is not intended for top-load washers. Always verify your full model number before ordering. Contact our support team with your model number if you're unsure.

⚠️ Shut Off Water Supply And Unplug Washer Before Starting — Have A Towel Ready Unplug the washer and shut off the cold water supply valve before beginning. Wear work gloves. Pull the washer away from the wall for access. Unthread the cold water supply line from the back of the valve first — have a towel ready, since residual water will spill out. Unthread the two screws securing the top panel, then slide the panel back and lift it off to access the valve assembly underneath. Photograph the wiring connections before disconnecting anything. Disconnect the spade terminal wire connectors from the old valve, remove its mounting screw or bracket, and pull the valve free. While it's out, inspect the area for rust or mineral scale, and clean the connection point if needed before installing the new valve. Install the new 5221ER1003S in the same position, reconnect the spade terminals, and secure the mounting hardware. Rethread the cold water supply line onto the new valve, tightening securely. Reinstall the top panel and its two screws. Restore the water supply and power, then run a short cycle and confirm the tub fills at the normal rate with no leaking underneath or behind the washer. Tools needed: channellock pliers, flathead screwdriver, pliers, drill/driver with a Phillips bit, towel, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
My washer keeps filling even while it's draining. Is that this valve?
Yes, this is a well-documented failure mode on this platform. Rust and mineral buildup inside the valve body can prevent it from sealing fully closed, so water keeps trickling or flowing into the tub even after the fill portion of the cycle has ended — sometimes enough to keep pace with draining, making it look like the washer is filling and draining simultaneously. If you open up the top panel and see rust around the valve, that strongly confirms this diagnosis.
Cold water won't fill but hot water works fine. Is this the right part?
Yes — this valve controls cold water specifically, and some LG front-load washers use a separate valve for the hot supply. If cold-specific cycles are failing while hot water fills normally, this cold valve is the correct part to replace.
I see rust on my old valve but it isn't leaking yet. Should I still replace it?
It's worth strongly considering. Rust and mineral buildup on this valve is a known precursor to it sticking partially open, which can lead to continuous filling, water waste, and potential water damage if it isn't caught. If you're already inspecting the area and see corrosion forming, replacing the valve proactively is often cheaper and easier than dealing with an active leak later.
What's the difference between 5221ER1003S and 5221ER1003A?
These are cross-referenced as the same valve — 5221ER1003A appears on some parts diagrams and listings as an alternate or prior designation for the identical part. If your washer's diagram shows either number, this listing is the correct replacement.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine LG OEM part, but is manufactured to match the 12V solenoid design, spade terminal connections, and dimensions of the original 5221ER1003S cold water valve used in compatible LG and Kenmore front-load washers.

A00126401 Genuine OEM Frigidaire Dishwasher Drain Pump Motor
The A00126401 is a genuine Frigidaire OEM drain pump motor assembly for Frigidaire, Electrolux, Crosley, Gibson, Kelvinator, Westinghouse, Tappan, and Kenmore dishwashers. At the end of each wash cycle, this pump is what actually pushes the used wash water out of the tub and through the drain hose, clearing the way for the next fill. An internal impeller spins to create that flow, drawing water in and forcing it out through the drain line.
Rated 120V, 60Hz, 35W, 0.8A, 3600RPM, with 1/4" male terminals, this assembly includes the pump motor, impeller, and seal. Common causes of failure include clogs from food particles or debris interfering with the impeller, worn or damaged impeller blades, and electrical failure of the motor itself. A failing drain pump typically shows up as water not draining from the dishwasher, water pooling at the bottom of the tub after a cycle, a grinding or humming noise from the pump area, or the dishwasher refusing to start a new cycle because it detects standing water left over from the last one. It directly replaces AP5690431, 154736201, 3015405, 5304492415, PS8689824, DW26401, PD00000922, and EAP2363535.
Quick Answer
The A00126401 Genuine OEM Frigidaire Dishwasher Drain Pump Motor fixes Frigidaire, Electrolux, Crosley, Gibson, Kelvinator, Westinghouse, Tappan, and Kenmore dishwashers that won't drain, pool water at the bottom of the tub, make grinding or humming noises, or won't start a new cycle due to leftover water. 120V, 60Hz, 35W, 0.8A, 3600RPM. ⚠️ Unplug Dishwasher Before Starting — Rule Out A Simple Clog First Before replacing the pump, check the drain hose and the sump screen at the bottom of the tub for a clog — food debris and buildup in the hose can produce identical "won't drain" symptoms to a failed pump, and clearing a clog costs nothing but a few minutes. One customer replaced the pump entirely, still had no drainage, and only afterward discovered the actual cause was a clogged drain hose; disconnecting and running a cycle without the hose attached can help confirm whether the pump itself is pushing water. Once you've confirmed the pump needs replacing, disconnect power at the outlet or shut off the circuit breaker, and pull the dishwasher out from under the counter for access to the underside — removing the two screws securing it to the counter first. Have a drain pan or towels ready for residual water. Photograph the wiring and hose connections before disconnecting anything. Disconnect the two wire connectors from the old pump, remove the three screws securing it in place, and disconnect the hose connections, then pull the old pump free. Install the new A00126401 in the same position, reconnect the hose connections, and reconnect the two wire connectors. Secure the pump with its three mounting screws. Slide the dishwasher back into place and secure it to the counter, restore power, and run a full test cycle to confirm normal draining with no leaks or unusual noise. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, flat-blade screwdriver, needle-nose pliers, drain pan, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
My dishwasher won't drain. How do I know if it's actually the pump and not something simpler?
Check the drain hose and the sump screen at the bottom of the tub for a clog first — this is a genuinely common cause of "won't drain" symptoms and costs nothing to rule out. If the hose and screen are clear and the pump still won't run, test the pump motor with a multimeter for continuity. If there's no continuity, or the pump is getting power but still won't run, replacement is the correct fix.
I already replaced the pump and it's still not draining. What should I check next?
This has happened to real customers, and the cause was ultimately a clogged drain hose rather than the pump itself. If replacing the pump didn't solve the drainage problem, disconnect the drain hose and run a test cycle to see whether water is being pushed out at all — if it is, the hose downstream is the likely culprit and worth snaking out or replacing.
Does this kit include the check valve flapper?
This varies by supplier batch — this assembly reliably includes the pump motor, impeller, and seal, but flapper inclusion isn't consistent across all sources. Inspect your old pump's flapper for wear or damage before installation, and contact our support team if you need to confirm whether a flapper is included with your specific order.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a genuine OEM part, manufactured by Frigidaire to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance. It matches the original motor speed, impeller design, and terminal configuration of the drain pump originally installed in your dishwasher.

WH13X10029 Genuine OEM GE Washer Water Valve
The WH13X10029 is a genuine GE OEM water inlet valve for GE, Hotpoint, Haier, Monogram, and Café front-load washers. This is a 2-inlet, 3-outlet valve assembly built around three internal solenoids: two work together during the wash portion of the cycle, opening in different combinations depending on the wash temperature you select, while the third solenoid handles the dedicated cold-only rinse. Because three separate solenoids share one valve body, a failure in any single one of them can affect only part of your washer's fill behavior while the rest continues working normally.
Rated 120V, 60Hz, and measuring approximately 5-3/8"L x 3-1/8"W x 2-1/2"H, this valve ships as a complete 3-solenoid assembly with its mounting bracket included. Common failure symptoms include the washer continuing to fill after it should have stopped, slow filling, or a complete failure to fill on one specific water temperature setting while others work fine. It directly replaces AP4303282, WV10029, 33090039, 1475762, AH1482392, EA1482392, EAP1482392, PD00001515, and PS1482392. ⚠️ Shut Off Water Supply And Unplug Washer Before Starting — Stackable Units May Need A Second Person Disconnect power at the outlet or shut off the circuit breaker, and shut off both hot and cold water supply valves before beginning. Wear work gloves. If your washer is part of a stacked laundry center, the dryer sitting on top will need to be removed first to access the top of the washer — this is much easier with a second person helping to lift and support the dryer safely. Remove the screws securing the top panel of the washer, then slide the panel back and lift it off to access the valve assembly. Disconnect the hot and cold water supply hoses from the back of the valve, keeping a towel handy for residual water. Photograph the wiring and hose connections before disconnecting anything, since this valve has multiple solenoids and outlet hoses that must be reconnected in the correct positions. Disconnect the electrical connectors and the three outlet hoses from the old valve, then remove its mounting screws and pull it free along with its bracket. Install the new WH13X10029 assembly in the same position, reconnect all three outlet hoses to their original positions, reconnect the electrical connectors, and secure the mounting screws. Reattach the hot and cold supply hoses, tightening securely. Reinstall the top panel, restore the water supply, and check every connection for leaks before restoring power. Run a full test cycle across a few different temperature settings, including a cold-only rinse if your washer has one, to confirm each solenoid is filling and shutting off correctly. If this is a stackable unit, carefully reposition the dryer back on top once testing is complete. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, pliers, towel, work gloves, and a helper for stackable units.
Frequently Asked Questions
My washer won't shut off and keeps filling. Is that this valve?
Yes, this is one of the most common symptoms of a failing valve on this platform. A worn internal seal on one of the three solenoids can fail to close fully, letting water continue flowing even after the correct fill level is reached. Since this could lead to overflow, it's worth shutting off the water supply at the wall if you notice this happening rather than waiting to address it.
Only my cold-only rinse doesn't fill, but regular wash cycles work fine. Do I need the whole valve?
Yes. This valve houses three separate solenoids in one assembly — two that combine for wash-cycle fills at different temperatures, and one dedicated specifically to the cold-only rinse. If just one of those three has failed, the others can continue working normally, which is exactly why a single-cycle fill problem can appear alongside otherwise normal operation. The three solenoids aren't sold or serviced individually, so replacing the complete assembly is the correct repair even if only one function is affected.
Do I really need to remove the dryer if this is a stacked unit?
On most stacked laundry centers, yes — the top panel of the washer sits underneath the dryer, so the dryer needs to come off first to get access. This is a heavier, more awkward step than the rest of the repair, so it's worth having a second person help lift and support the dryer safely rather than attempting it alone.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a genuine OEM part, manufactured by GE to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance. It includes the same 3-solenoid design, flow rate, and mounting configuration as the water valve originally installed in your front-load washer.

XPARTCO W10683603 Washer Water Inlet Valve Replaces WPW10683603
The XPARTCO W10683603 is an aftermarket replacement washer water inlet valve and vacuum break assembly compatible with a wide range of Whirlpool-family top-load washers including Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore, Amana, KitchenAid, Roper, Crosley, Inglis, and Admiral. The water inlet valve is a dual solenoid valve mounted on the back of the washer that controls the flow of hot and cold water into the tub. When the washer calls for water, the control board energizes one or both solenoid coils to open the valve and allow water to flow through. A thermistor sensor on the valve monitors incoming water temperature to ensure proper wash temperatures are achieved.
When the water inlet valve fails, the washer may not fill at all, fill too slowly, fill only with hot or only with cold water, overfill continuously, or drip water into the tub when it should be closed. ⚠️ Unplug Washer and Shut Off Water Before Starting Disconnect power and turn off both the hot and cold water supply valves before beginning. Move the washer away from the wall to access the back panel. The water inlet valve is mounted on the upper rear of the washer cabinet — two supply hoses connect to the back of the valve (red for hot, blue for cold) and internal hoses route water into the tub. Photograph the wire harness connections and hose routing before disconnecting anything. Use pliers to loosen the hose clamps and disconnect the internal hoses. Unscrew the two mounting screws holding the valve to the washer cabinet. Disconnect the wire harness connectors from the solenoid coils and thermistor. Remove the old valve and install the new W10683603 in the same position. Reconnect the wire harnesses, internal hoses, and mounting screws. Reconnect the external supply hoses (red to hot, blue to cold), restore water supply and power, and run a fill cycle to check for leaks. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, pliers.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the water inlet valve do?
The water inlet valve is a dual solenoid valve that controls the flow of hot and cold water from your household supply lines into the washer tub. When the control board calls for water during a fill or rinse cycle, it sends voltage to one or both solenoid coils — hot, cold, or both — to open the appropriate valve port and allow water to flow in. When the correct water level is reached, the board cuts voltage to the solenoids, closing the valve. The thermistor sensor on the valve monitors incoming water temperature and sends data to the control board to ensure the correct wash temperature is achieved.
What is the difference between W10683603 and WPW10683603?
These are the same water inlet valve. WPW10683603 is the updated Whirlpool OEM part number that superseded the original W10683603. The W10423125, W10501149, and W10683680 are also cross-references for this same valve from earlier production runs. This aftermarket replacement is compatible with all of these numbers.
My washer fills with only cold water — is the water inlet valve the cause?
Filling with only cold water when a warm or hot cycle is selected usually means the hot water solenoid coil on the valve has failed. Each solenoid coil controls one valve port independently — a failed hot solenoid means only the cold port opens. You can confirm with a multimeter: test each solenoid coil for continuity — a working coil shows resistance (typically 200–500 ohms), while a failed coil reads open circuit. Before blaming the valve, also check that your household hot water supply is fully open and that hot water is actually reaching the washer's supply hose.
Why is water dripping into the tub when the washer is off?
A slow drip or trickle of water into the tub when the washer is not running is almost always caused by a water inlet valve that is not closing completely. This can be caused by mineral deposits from hard water partially blocking the valve seat and preventing it from fully sealing, or by a worn valve diaphragm that no longer makes a watertight seal when the solenoid de-energizes. Replacing the water inlet valve resolves this in most cases. If the dripping persists after replacing the valve, check whether the household water pressure is excessively high — very high pressure can force open even a healthy valve.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine Whirlpool OEM part, but is manufactured from durable plastic and metal to match the dimensions and electrical specifications of the original WPW10683603 water inlet valve assembly.

WD21X25468 Genuine OEM GE Dishwasher Pressure Sensor Assembly
The WD21X25468 is a Genuine OEM GE replacement dishwasher pressure sensor assembly compatible with a wide range of GE, GE Profile, GE Café, Hotpoint, Haier, and Monogram dishwashers in the GDF, GDT, GDP, PDT, CDT, ZDT, QDP, and HDF series. The pressure sensor monitors water pressure inside the dishwasher tub during fill and drain cycles and sends real-time readings to the electronic control board. The control board uses these readings to calculate the correct amount of water needed for each wash cycle and to confirm that the tub has drained properly before advancing to the next cycle phase.
When the pressure sensor fails — or when it becomes clogged with grease, food residue, or mineral buildup — the dishwasher may not fill with water, may overfill, may stop mid-cycle, may fail to drain correctly, or may display error codes H2O or FTD (Failure to Drain). This Genuine OEM part is manufactured by GE to factory specifications. It directly replaces AP6976524, PS12741258, EAP12741258, 4962334, 37640602, and 265D3356P001. Sold individually. Installs in 15–20 minutes — a screwdriver is the only tool required for most models.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Dishwasher and Shut Off Water Before Starting Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before beginning. On most compatible GE models, the pressure sensor is located near the bottom of the dishwasher tub, accessible after removing the lower front kick panel (secured by one or two screws). The sensor assembly connects to a small hose and a wiring harness connector. Tip: before replacing the sensor, remove it and inspect the pressure port and hose for grease, food residue, or mineral buildup — a clogged sensor port can cause H2O and FTD errors without the sensor itself being electrically failed. Clean the port and hose with warm water and a small brush, reinstall, and test the dishwasher. If the error codes persist after cleaning, replace the WD21X25468 sensor. To replace: disconnect the hose and wiring harness from the old sensor, unclip or unscrew the sensor from its mounting bracket, and install the new sensor in the same position. Reconnect the hose and harness, restore power and water, and run a test cycle. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the dishwasher pressure sensor do?
The pressure sensor monitors the water pressure — and therefore the water level — inside the dishwasher tub throughout the wash cycle. It sends continuous readings to the electronic control board, which uses the data to determine how much water to add during fill, when to stop filling, and whether the tub has drained completely before advancing to the next cycle phase. An accurate pressure sensor is essential for the dishwasher to fill to the correct level (not too much, not too little), wash with the correct spray arm pressure, and drain fully before moving on to rinse or dry cycles.
What do error codes H2O and FTD mean on GE dishwashers?
H2O error code on compatible GE dishwashers indicates that the dishwasher is not detecting enough water in the tub — either water is not filling at all, or the pressure sensor is not sensing the water that has filled. FTD (Failure to Drain) code indicates the dishwasher has not confirmed that the tub has drained within the expected time. Both codes can be caused by a faulty pressure sensor, a clogged sensor port, a failed fill valve, a blocked drain system, or control board issues. The pressure sensor should be inspected and tested first since it is the most accessible and commonly replaced component for these two error codes.
Should I try cleaning the sensor before replacing it?
Yes — absolutely. The pressure sensor on GE dishwashers can produce H2O and FTD error codes when its pressure port or connected hose becomes clogged with grease, food residue, or hard water mineral deposits — even if the sensor itself is electrically intact. Before ordering a replacement, remove the sensor, inspect the pressure port opening, and clean it thoroughly with warm water and a small brush. Flush the connected hose to clear any buildup. Reinstall and run a test cycle. If the error codes return, the sensor has electrically failed and needs replacement with the WD21X25468.
My dishwasher won't fill unless I pour water in manually first — is this the pressure sensor?
Yes — this is a classic symptom of a clogged or failed pressure sensor. When the sensor port is blocked, the sensor reads zero pressure (empty tub) even when the dishwasher starts. In some cases the control board interprets this as a drainage confirmation and will not initiate the fill cycle. Pouring water into the filter manually raises the physical water level enough to trigger filling. Check and clean the sensor port as described above. If cleaning does not resolve the issue, replace the WD21X25468 sensor.
Is this a Genuine OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a Genuine OEM part manufactured by GE to factory specifications. It is the exact same pressure sensor assembly installed in compatible GE, GE Profile, GE Café, Hotpoint, and related brand dishwashers from the factory — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance.
