OE WR60X10220 Refrigerator Condenser Fan Motor
The OE WR60X10220 is an Original Equipment condenser fan motor for GE-built refrigerators, sourced from the same original manufacturer that supplies this motor for genuine GE production, and shipped in XPARTCO packaging rather than GE retail packaging. The condenser fan motor pulls air across the condenser coils and compressor to dissipate heat, and on many models it also helps evaporate condensate that collects in the drain pan below the compressor. When this motor fails or weakens, the compressor and coils can't shed heat properly, leading to a refrigerator that runs constantly, doesn't cool adequately, or develops a squealing/screeching noise as the motor bearings wear.
It directly replaces WR60X10220, WR60X10133, WR60X10171, WR60X10192, 197D1871P026, IS-2321GEN, AH1766247, EA1766247, EAP1766247, AP4298602, AGE29216, PD00001198, PS1766247, SM10220. Located in the rear compressor compartment behind the refrigerator's rear access panel. Installs in 30–60 minutes with basic hand tools.

What Is an OE Part?
OE ("Original Equipment") parts are sourced from the same original manufacturer that supplies the component for genuine factory production — not a different aftermarket maker. The difference from a "Genuine OEM" listing is packaging: an OE part ships in XPARTCO packaging instead of the appliance brand's retail box, at a lower cost, while the part itself comes off the same production line. OE is a separate designation from our XPARTCO aftermarket brand and is never labeled with an XPARTCO prefix.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Refrigerator Before Starting Disconnect power before beginning. Pull the refrigerator away from the wall and remove the rear access panel over the compressor compartment (typically several screws around the perimeter). Locate the condenser fan motor and blade near the compressor. Photograph the wiring before disconnecting. Unplug the motor's wiring harness connector. Remove the mounting screws or bracket clip holding the motor in place, and note the orientation of the fan blade on the motor shaft before removing it — the blade must be reinstalled facing the same direction to move air correctly. Transfer the fan blade to the new WR60X10220 motor, or install the blade included with your kit in the same orientation. Mount the new motor in the same position and secure it. Reconnect the wiring harness, matching your photos. Reinstall the rear access panel, restore power, and confirm the fan spins freely and the compressor area cools down normally after running. Tools needed: nut driver or screwdriver, needle-nose pliers (for wiring connectors).
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between this OE part and a "Genuine OEM" listing?
Both come from the same original manufacturer as factory production — the difference is packaging and price. A Genuine OEM listing ships in the appliance brand's own retail box; this OE part ships in XPARTCO packaging at a lower cost, with no difference in the motor itself.
My fridge is making a loud squealing noise — is this the part I need?
Very likely, yes. A squealing or screeching noise from behind the refrigerator, especially one that gets louder over time, is one of the most common symptoms of a failing condenser fan motor as its bearings wear out. Pull the unit out and listen near the rear compressor compartment to confirm the noise is coming from that area before ordering.
Is this the same as an evaporator fan motor?
No — these are different components serving different purposes, and it's easy to order the wrong one. The evaporator fan motor is inside the freezer compartment and circulates cold air through the fridge and freezer. This condenser fan motor is in the rear compressor compartment and cools the compressor and condenser coils. Confirm which one your model uses based on symptoms and location before ordering.
Do I need to transfer the fan blade from my old motor?
On many models, yes — the fan blade is a separate component that mounts onto the motor shaft, and you'll transfer it from the old motor to the new one, noting its orientation first. Some kits include a new blade; check what's included with your specific motor before starting the repair.

Genuine Whirlpool OEM Part
Whirlpool W10918010 Refrigerator Door Closer - Gray (Right Hand)
Right-hand gray refrigerator door closer for the door hinge and closing assembly.
Quick Answer
W10918010 is a genuine Whirlpool OEM right-hand gray refrigerator door closer. It works with the door hinge and closure mechanism to help guide the refrigerator door into its proper closed position and replaces earlier part number W10833739.
Product Description
The W10918010 door closer works with the refrigerator door hinge and closing mechanism to guide the right-hand fresh-food door through the final portion of its closing movement. The shaped closer surface helps the door settle into its intended closed position as the hinge moves.
A cracked or worn closer can cause the door to close unevenly, need extra force near the end of travel, or fail to settle into position correctly. A door that remains partially open can allow cold air to escape, which may contribute to temperature problems, condensation, frost, and longer compressor run time.
Symptoms This Part Fixes
Right-hand refrigerator door does not close smoothly
Door needs an extra push near the fully closed position
Door feels uneven or shifts as it closes
Auto-closing action is weak or inconsistent
Original closer is visibly cracked, worn, or broken
Door does not settle securely into its normal closed position

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Whirlpool W10918010 do?
W10918010 is the right-hand refrigerator door closer. It works with the door hinge and closing mechanism to help guide the door through the final portion of its travel and into the proper closed position.
Is W10918010 a genuine Whirlpool OEM part?
Yes. W10918010 is documented as a genuine Whirlpool OEM refrigerator door closer. It is also used on select Whirlpool-built appliance brands and models.
How can I check whether the door closer is actually damaged?
Open the right-hand refrigerator door and slowly move it through the final portion of closing while watching the lower hinge and closer area. If the closer is visibly cracked, broken, deformed, loose, or fails to move smoothly while the hinge hardware remains secure, the closer may need replacement.
Does the right-hand position matter?
Yes. W10918010 is specifically identified as the right-hand gray door closer. The matching left-hand closer is a different part, so verify the door side and complete appliance model before ordering.
Why should I match the model number instead of comparing the part visually?
Door closers can look very similar while having different geometry, mounting points, colors, or left/right orientation. Matching the complete refrigerator model and manufacturer part number is more reliable than appearance alone.
What should I inspect while replacing the closer?
Inspect the hinge, mounting hardware, door alignment, and gasket contact while the door is supported. If another closure component is worn or loose, replacing the closer alone may not fully correct the door problem.

⚠️ Unplug Refrigerator Before Starting — Clear Any Frost Or Ice From The Fan Area Unplug the refrigerator and safely store any food that could spoil while the power is off. Wear work gloves. Locate the evaporator fan motor in the freezer compartment, typically behind an interior panel covering the evaporator coil assembly. If there's noticeable frost or ice buildup around the fan or coil, allow it to fully defrost before continuing — restricted airflow from ice is a common contributor to fan motor strain and noise. Remove the panel to access the fan motor, then disconnect the wiring harness from the old motor. Remove the mounting screws or clips securing the old motor and pull it free, along with the fan blade if it doesn't transfer separately. Install the new WR60X25858 in the same position, reconnect the wiring harness fully, and secure the mounting hardware. Reinstall the interior panel. While you're in this area, vacuuming out any accessible condenser coils is a good complementary maintenance step. Restore power and monitor the freezer's temperature over the next 24 hours to confirm normal, quiet operation and consistent cooling. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
My freezer isn't cold anymore. Is this the part I need?
Yes, this is one of the most common causes of a freezer that won't cool. One customer specifically reached out after their freezer wasn't cold, watched a diagnostic video explaining the evaporator fan's role, and confirmed this motor was the cause before ordering the replacement.
I hear a strange noise from inside my freezer. Could this be the fan motor?
Yes, this is a well-documented symptom. Noise often occurs when the fan motor itself is wearing out, or when frost or ice has built up enough to rub against the spinning fan blade. Clearing any ice buildup before replacing the motor helps you confirm whether the noise was from ice contact or the motor itself.
Should I do anything else while I have the freezer open for this repair?
It's a good opportunity to check for and clear any frost or ice buildup around the fan and coil area, since restricted airflow can contribute to fan strain. One customer also vacuumed out the condenser coils during the same repair, which is a reasonable companion maintenance step while everything is accessible.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a genuine OEM part, manufactured by GE to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance. It matches the original motor design, voltage, and connection type of the evaporator fan motor originally installed in your refrigerator.

XPARTCO 242046001 Refrigerator Defrost Thermostat
The XPARTCO 242046001 is an aftermarket replacement defrost termination thermostat compatible with a wide range of Frigidaire, Electrolux, Crosley, Gibson, Kelvinator, Tappan, Westinghouse, White-Westinghouse, and Kenmore refrigerators — including French door, side-by-side, and bottom-freezer models across the CFD, DGHF, E23BC, and EI23BC series. The defrost thermostat is a bi-metal safety device clipped to the evaporator coil or defrost heater tube in the freezer compartment. During the defrost cycle, it monitors the coil temperature and opens its circuit once the coil warms to roughly 50–60°F (10–15°C), which cuts power to the defrost heater. This confirms all the ice has melted and prevents the heater from continuing to run and overheating the freezer.
When the thermostat fails, one of two things happens: it can fail open (the defrost heater never runs, so ice builds up on the coils until airflow is blocked and cooling fails), or it can fail closed (the heater runs too long, overheating the compartment and often producing water pooling at the bottom of the freezer or leaking onto the floor). Features a cylindrical metallic body with two blue wires and white electrical connectors. Specification code L47-22F. Wire leads approximately 7.9". It directly replaces 242046001, 240386402, 240386403, AP4508400, 1564839, AH2378768, EA2378768, PS2378768, and L47-22F. Tip: the defrost thermostat, defrost heater, and defrost timer/control board form the defrost system and often fail together — replacing them as a set while the panel is off saves a repeat repair. Installs in 30–45 minutes with basic hand tools.
Quick Answer
The XPARTCO 242046001 Refrigerator Defrost Thermostat fixes Frigidaire, Electrolux, Crosley, Gibson, Kelvinator, Kenmore, Tappan, and Westinghouse refrigerators with excessive frost or ice buildup on the evaporator coils, fridge or freezer too warm (or too cold), the defrost cycle not activating, the refrigerator running continuously, or water pooling/leaking in the freezer. Bi-metal defrost termination thermostat — opens around 50–60°F to shut off the defrost heater. Cylindrical metal body, 2 blue wires, white connectors. Replaces 240386402, 240386403, AP4508400, 1564839, AH2378768, EA2378768, PS2378768, L47-22F. Often replaced together with the defrost heater and defrost timer.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Excessive frost or ice buildup on the evaporator coils — defrost heater never running because the thermostat failed open
Freezer section too warm — iced-over coils blocking airflow
Refrigerator section too warm — cold air not circulating past frosted coils
Freezer or fridge section too cold — erratic defrost cycling
Defrost cycle not activating at all
Refrigerator running continuously without cycling off
Water pooling at the bottom of the freezer or leaking onto the floor — defrost heater running too long because the thermostat failed closed
Reduced cooling efficiency and food spoiling faster than normal
Multimeter continuity test on the thermostat shows an open circuit when cold (it should show continuity when cold)
Top of the thermostat visibly popped up or bulged — a sign of failure

⚠️ Unplug Refrigerator and Move Perishable Food Before Starting — Wear Work Gloves Unplug the refrigerator from the electrical outlet and safely store any food that could spoil while the power is off. Wear work gloves to protect your hands. The defrost thermostat is located in the freezer compartment behind the rear evaporator access panel. Remove all freezer shelves, drawers, and the ice maker (if equipped) to clear access to the back wall. If there's heavy ice buildup covering the coils, allow the freezer to thaw completely before continuing — never chip or pry ice off the evaporator coils, as the aluminum fins damage easily and a damaged coil is a far more expensive repair. Remove the screws securing the rear evaporator access panel and carefully detach it to expose the evaporator coils, defrost heater, and defrost thermostat. Locate the thermostat — it's the small cylindrical metal component clipped onto the evaporator coil or the defrost heater tube, with two blue wires. Photograph the wiring connections and mounting position before disconnecting. Carefully disconnect the electrical connectors from the old thermostat, noting their orientation. Release the mounting clip and remove the old thermostat. Clip the new 242046001 thermostat onto the coil or heater tube in the exact same position — good thermal contact with the coil is essential for the thermostat to sense the temperature correctly. Reconnect the electrical connectors. While the panel is open, inspect the defrost heater and defrost timer/control board — if either is damaged or you're chasing a defrost problem, this is the ideal time to replace them too. Reinstall the rear access panel, shelves, drawers, and ice maker. Plug the refrigerator back in and allow several hours for the unit to return to its set temperature. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, 1/4" nut driver, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a defrost thermostat actually do?
It's the "off switch" for your refrigerator's defrost heater. Frost naturally accumulates on the evaporator coils during normal cooling. Periodically, the defrost timer/control board turns on the defrost heater to melt that frost. The defrost thermostat — a bi-metal switch clipped right to the coil — monitors the coil's temperature during this cycle. When the coil warms to approximately 47°F (its L47-22F rating — indicating all the ice has melted), the thermostat opens its circuit and cuts power to the heater. This stops the heater before it overheats the freezer compartment, and saves energy. Without a working thermostat, the defrost cycle either never runs (ice builds up) or runs too long (overheating and water pooling).
I found water pooling in my freezer — is the defrost thermostat the cause?
Quite possibly. A defrost thermostat that fails closed (stuck in the "on" position) lets the defrost heater run far longer than it should. The excess heat melts more than just the frost on the coils, producing more water than the drain can handle — which pools at the bottom of the freezer and can leak onto the floor. This is a commonly misdiagnosed symptom: many people assume they have a water line leak when the actual culprit is a failed defrost thermostat. If you're seeing unexplained water in the freezer or on the floor and there's no obvious water line issue, check the defrost thermostat. Also verify the defrost drain isn't clogged, which produces similar symptoms.
How do I test the defrost thermostat?
With the refrigerator unplugged, disconnect the thermostat's wire connectors and set your multimeter to continuity mode. A working defrost thermostat should show continuity when it's cold (below its opening temperature — which it will be if it's been in the freezer). If it reads open (no continuity) while cold, the thermostat has failed and needs replacement. For a more thorough test, place the thermostat in ice water (should show continuity), then warm it above its ~47°F opening point (should open — no continuity). If it doesn't switch at the correct temperatures, replace it. Another visual check: if the top of the thermostat has popped up or bulged, that's a sign it has failed.
Should I replace the defrost heater and timer at the same time?
Yes, it's strongly recommended. The defrost thermostat, defrost heater, and defrost timer/control board work together as a system — the timer initiates the defrost cycle, the heater melts the frost, and the thermostat terminates the cycle when the coil is clear. When one component fails, the others have typically experienced the same age and thermal stress, and a near-term failure of another defrost component is common. Since the rear access panel is already off and all three components are right there next to each other, replacing them together in a single session prevents a repeat repair down the road.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine Frigidaire/Electrolux OEM part, but is manufactured to match the L47-22F specification (opening at approximately 47°F), bi-metal switching function, cylindrical body, two-blue-wire connector configuration, and tube-mount clip of the original 242046001 defrost termination thermostat used in compatible Frigidaire, Electrolux, Crosley, Gibson, Kelvinator, Tappan, Westinghouse, and Kenmore refrigerators.

5040JA2009B Genuine OEM LG Refrigerator Motor Damper Grommet (Front)
The 5040JA2009B is a genuine LG OEM front evaporator motor grommet for LG and select Kenmore refrigerators, and also fits select freezers. This rubber grommet cushions and secures the front side of the evaporator fan motor's mount, reducing vibration and noise as the motor runs. It's the front-position counterpart to our 5040JA2004A rear grommet — LG mounts this evaporator fan motor from both the front and rear with matching grommets working together.
Made of rubber, this grommet naturally degrades from prolonged use, exposure to the freezer's cold temperatures, or physical damage from an accidental impact during cleaning or organizing. Once it fails, the evaporator motor loses proper cushioning and can shift slightly out of alignment. Symptoms of a bad grommet include increased noise and vibration, particularly noticeable when the evaporator fan motor is running, along with a rattling or buzzing sound coming from the freezer area. It directly replaces AP4443769, 1268013, AH3526237, EA3526237, PS3526237, and 5040JQ2003B.
Quick Answer
The 5040JA2009B Genuine OEM LG Refrigerator Motor Damper Grommet (Front) fixes LG and select Kenmore refrigerators with increased noise or vibration from the evaporator fan motor, or a rattling/buzzing sound from the freezer area. Rubber, front-position grommet for the evaporator fan motor. Replaces AP4443769, 1268013, AH3526237, EA3526237, PS3526237, 5040JQ2003B. This is the front counterpart to our 5040JA2004A rear grommet — both support the same evaporator fan motor from opposite sides.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Increased noise or vibration from the evaporator fan motor
Rattling or buzzing sound coming from the freezer area
Noise that's especially noticeable when the fan motor is running
Evaporator motor that has shifted slightly out of alignment
Visibly cracked, hardened, or damaged rubber grommet

This motor damper grommet directly replaces the following OEM and cross-reference part numbers:
5040JA2009B, AP4443769, 1268013, AH3526237, EA3526237, PS3526237, 5040JQ2003B
If your part number is not listed above, contact our support team before ordering and we will verify compatibility.
Compatibility
This front evaporator motor grommet is compatible with select LG refrigerators and freezers, and also fits select Kenmore refrigerators built on the LG platform, including model numbers such as LFXC24726S, LMXS30776S, LSC27950ST, LFC20760SB, LFX25960SB, and LFX28968ST/02.
Note — front grommet, not rear: This is the front-position evaporator motor grommet. The matching rear-position grommet for the same motor is a separate part, our 5040JA2004A listing. Both are typically checked and often replaced together, since they support the same motor and are usually the same age. Always verify your full model number before ordering. ⚠️ Unplug Refrigerator Before Starting — Photograph Wiring Before Disconnecting Disconnect power at the outlet before beginning, and move perishable food to a cooler for the duration of the repair. Wear work gloves. Access to the evaporator motor on many models requires going in through the freezer: empty the top half of the freezer, remove the side rails holding the ice bin, then remove the outer screws holding the ice auger assembly — on many models this means only the two outer screws on each side, not the middle ones. With the ice maker components clear, remove the rear panel to access the evaporator fan motor and its front and rear grommets. Photograph the wiring connections carefully before disconnecting anything, since several wires can look interchangeable but are not, and reconnecting one in reverse can cause a malfunction. Remove the old front grommet from the motor mount — it typically pulls free without tools. Press the new 5040JA2009B grommet into the same position, seating it fully. If the rear grommet is also worn, this is a good time to replace it as well since you already have access. Reassemble the ice maker components, rear panel, and any other parts removed for access, restore power, and run the refrigerator for a while to confirm the noise or vibration has resolved. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I replace the rear grommet at the same time as this front one?
It's worth considering. Both grommets support the same evaporator fan motor from opposite sides and are typically the same age, so if one has degraded, the other is often not far behind. Since accessing the motor for this repair already requires a fair amount of teardown, replacing both together — our 5040JA2004A rear grommet and this front one — saves you from repeating the same access work again soon after.
Why do I need to go through the ice maker to reach this part?
On many LG refrigerator models, the evaporator fan motor and its grommets sit behind the freezer's ice maker assembly, so reaching them requires removing the ice bin, its side rails, and the auger mechanism first. This is a more involved access path than some other freezer repairs, so budget extra time and take photos as you go to keep track of how everything reassembles.
Why is it so important to photograph the wiring before disconnecting?
Several of the wires in this area can look similar and are easy to connect in reverse or in the wrong position, which can cause a malfunction after reassembly. Taking clear photos of each connection before you disconnect anything is a simple step that prevents a frustrating troubleshooting session later.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a genuine OEM part, manufactured by LG to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance. It matches the original rubber compound and mounting fit of the front evaporator motor grommet originally installed in your refrigerator.

Whirlpool W10918008 Refrigerator Door Closer - Gray (Left Hand)
Left-hand gray refrigerator door closer for the door hinge and closing assembly.
Quick Answer
W10918008 is a genuine Whirlpool OEM left-hand gray refrigerator door closer. It works with the door hinge and closure mechanism to help guide the refrigerator door into its proper closed position and replaces earlier part number W10833741.
Product Description
The W10918008 door closer works with the refrigerator door hinge and closing mechanism to guide the left-hand fresh-food door through the final portion of its closing movement. The closer helps the door settle into its intended closed position as the hinge moves.
Left-hand refrigerator door does not close smoothly
Door needs an extra push near the fully closed position
Door feels uneven or shifts as it closes
Auto-closing action is weak or inconsistent
Original closer is visibly cracked, worn, or broken
Door does not settle securely into its normal closed position

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Whirlpool W10918008 do?
W10918008 is the left-hand refrigerator door closer. It works with the door hinge and closing mechanism to help guide the door through the final portion of its travel and into the proper closed position.
Is W10918008 a genuine Whirlpool OEM part?
Yes. W10918008 is a genuine Whirlpool OEM refrigerator door closer. It is used on select Whirlpool-built refrigerator models and brands.
How can I check whether the door closer is actually damaged?
Open the left-hand refrigerator door and slowly move it through the final portion of closing while watching the lower hinge and closer area. If the closer is visibly cracked, broken, deformed, loose, or fails to move smoothly while the hinge hardware remains secure, the closer may need replacement.
Does the left-hand position matter?
Yes. W10918008 is specifically identified as the left-hand gray door closer. The matching right-hand closer is a different part, so verify the door side and complete appliance model before ordering.
