XPG497 Microwave Door Switch (Normally Open)
The XPG497 is an aftermarket normally open (NO) microwave door interlock switch, also designated EXP497, that restores proper start behavior so the microwave runs only when the door is fully closed. It is a replacement for many LG, GE, Whirlpool, Frigidaire, Kenmore, Samsung, Panasonic and Sharp door switches, including Frigidaire 5304509460. When the switch fails, the microwave may not start, may lose power intermittently, or may show an error.
