⚠️ Unplug Dishwasher and Shut Off Water Before Starting Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before beginning. This repair requires pulling the dishwasher out from under the counter. Disconnect the water supply line, drain hose, and electrical connection before pulling the unit out. Place a blanket or cardboard on the floor and carefully lay the dishwasher on its side to access the drain pump on the underside. Loosen the hose clamps at both ends of the pump and disconnect the drain hoses. Disconnect the pump wiring connector. Rotate or unscrew the old pump assembly to release it from the pump housing. Install the new WD19X24829 pump in the same position, reconnect the hoses and wiring connector, and secure the clamps and mounting hardware. Return the dishwasher to upright, reconnect the supply line, drain hose, and electrical connection, and slide it back under the counter.
