  • 3392519 Dryer Thermal Fuse is 91*C / 196*F and has two 3/16" wire terminals.
  • This fuse is located on the blower housing next to the blower fan.
  • Recommended to check the exhaust duct for clogs regular. That is a common cause for blowing fuses since the heat will buildup until it blows.

Description: This Dryer Thermal Fuse is a replacement part for specific Maytag, Kenmore, Whirlpool dryer models. It is a critical safety device designed to prevent the dryer from overheating. The thermal fuse acts as a cutoff, interrupting the electrical flow to the dryer’s heating element or motor if the dryer exceeds a safe temperature threshold.  Common causes of a bad thermal fuse can include excessive lint buildup blocking the exhaust vent, restricted airflow, a malfunctioning thermostat, or overloading the dryer.

This is an aftermarket part that can be used as a replacement for the OEM part.
