Steps: Remove the old burner element by gently pulling it from the receptacle, align the Y-style bracket of the new S48D21 element, and plug it into the socket. Ensure the element sits flat in the drip pan. If the burner is not level, adjust the connection bolts to ensure they are parallel and push down gently. Installation takes 5–10 minutes. Note: A slight burning smell during first use is normal due to a protective coating; this will dissipate after 15–20 minutes.
