⚠️ Unplug Dryer Before Starting Disconnect power (and shut off gas for gas dryers) before beginning. Remove the top panel by inserting a putty knife under the front edge to release the spring clips, then lift. Remove the front panel to fully expose the drum. Take a photo of the existing belt routing before removing anything. Release the drive belt from the idler pulley and slide it off the drum. Remove the drum and set it aside. Replace all four drum support rollers — remove the old tri-ring clips with needle-nose pliers, slide the old rollers off the shafts, and install the new WPW10314173 rollers with new tri-rings and the included washer. Replace the idler pulley (279640) by pressing the new wheel onto the idler arm shaft. Route the new 661570V belt around the drum (ribbed side against the drum), under the idler pulley, and around the motor pulley. Reinstall the drum, front panel, and top panel. Restore power and run a test cycle. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, putty knife, needle-nose pliers, socket set.
