DE92-02588G Genuine OEM Samsung Range Control Board
The DE92-02588G is a genuine Samsung OEM main control board and clock assembly for Samsung gas ranges. This board is the range's central processor for the oven side of the appliance — it monitors oven temperature, drives the heating functions, and includes the digital display that shows the time and temperature settings. Every button press on the control panel is interpreted here, and every heating command the oven executes is issued from this board.
Samsung's own service guidance draws a clear line for when this board is the correct part: order it when the range display is completely blank or unresponsive, or when the clock/timer still works but none of the oven's heating functions operate. It is specifically the wrong part when only certain buttons fail to respond or specific functions are missing while the rest of the panel works normally — that pattern points to a failed switch membrane (touchpad) instead, a separate component. Power surges, including lightning strikes near the home's electrical service, are a documented real-world cause of this board failing outright. It directly replaces AP5800586, 3553835, and PS8764724.
Quick Answer
The DE92-02588G Genuine OEM Samsung Range Control Board fixes Samsung gas ranges with a completely blank or unresponsive display, or a range where the clock/timer works but none of the oven's heating functions operate. Includes the digital clock/display. Replaces AP5800586, 3553835, PS8764724. Do NOT order this board if only certain buttons don't respond or specific functions are missing while everything else works — that points to a failed switch membrane (touchpad), not this board.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Range display is completely blank or dead
Control panel is entirely unresponsive to any button press
Clock and timer function normally, but no oven heating functions work at all
Oven won't heat despite the range otherwise appearing to have power
SE or similar error code displayed on the control panel
Range that stopped working suddenly after a power surge or nearby lightning strike
Digital display showing incorrect or scrambled time/temperature readings

DE92-02588G, AP5800586, 3553835, EAP8764724, ASM553766, PD00025599, PS8764724
If your part number is not listed above, contact our support team before ordering and we will verify compatibility.
Compatibility
This control board is compatible with select Samsung gas ranges, including model numbers such as:
NX58F5300SS, NX58F5300SW
NX58F5500SS, NX58F5500SW, NX58F5500SB
NX58R4311SS, NX58R4311SG
Note: Before ordering, confirm your symptom matches this board specifically. If the display is blank/dead, or the clock works but heating functions don't, this board is correct. If only some buttons or functions fail while others work fine, the issue is very likely the switch membrane (touchpad) instead — a separate part from this control board. Always verify your full model number before ordering. Contact our support team with your model number if you're unsure.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Range Or Shut Off Breaker Before Starting — Handle The Board By Its Edges Unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker before beginning to avoid electrical hazards, and allow the range to cool if recently used. Wear work gloves. Access is typically through the rear of the control panel: remove the screws securing the back cover to reach the board. Photograph all harness connections before disconnecting anything — this board has multiple connectors, and getting one out of place will cause a no-start or miswired symptom. Handle the new board by its edges rather than touching the components directly, and avoid working on a carpeted surface or in conditions with static buildup, since these boards can be sensitive to static discharge. Remove the mounting screws, disconnect each harness connector from the old board, and lift it free. Install the new DE92-02588G in the same orientation, reconnect every harness connector exactly as photographed, and secure the mounting screws. Reinstall the rear cover, restore power, and test the display, clock, and all oven functions to confirm normal operation. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, nut driver, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
Some of my buttons don't respond but others work fine. Do I need this board?
Probably not. Samsung's own guidance is specific here: if certain buttons don't respond, specific functions are missing, or you can't adjust particular settings while the rest of the panel works normally, that pattern points to a failed switch membrane (touchpad) rather than this main control board. This board is the correct part when the display is completely blank/dead, or when the clock and timer work but no heating functions operate at all.
My range stopped working right after a thunderstorm. Could that be related?
Yes, this is a documented real-world cause of this exact board failing. Power surges, including those from a nearby lightning strike, can damage the control board's circuitry outright, leading to a sudden and complete loss of function. If your range died abruptly during or shortly after a storm, this board is a strong candidate for the cause.
Should I replace the switch membrane at the same time, just in case?
Some people do replace both together, especially if they want to be certain the repair is complete on the first attempt rather than risk needing a second repair shortly after. But if your symptoms clearly match this board (blank display, or clock works with no heat) rather than the switch membrane's symptoms (some buttons unresponsive, others fine), replacing just this board is usually sufficient.
Does this board include the digital clock and display?
Yes. This is a combined control board and clock assembly — the digital display for time and temperature settings is part of this same board, not a separate component.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a genuine OEM part, manufactured by Samsung to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance. It includes the same processor, relay switching, and display circuitry as the control board originally installed in your range.

XPARTCO WB13K21 Gas Oven Flat Igniter with Harness
The XPARTCO WB13K21 is an aftermarket replacement flat-style gas oven igniter with harness compatible with select GE, Hotpoint, RCA, and Kenmore gas ranges and ovens. The oven igniter is a silicon carbide heating element mounted inside the oven next to the burner. It serves a dual purpose: it draws electrical current through the oven safety valve to hold it open, and it heats to ignition temperature to light the gas burner. The igniter must draw sufficient current — typically 3.2–3.6 amps — to hold the safety valve fully open. A weakened igniter that draws too little current will glow but never fully open the gas valve, preventing the burner from lighting.
This flat-style igniter draws 3.4–3.6 amps at 115V. The ceramic block measures 1-1/2" L, with an overall bracket/cage measuring 3-3/4"L x 2-1/8"W x 13/16"H. The harness and plug extend approximately 7-7/8" from the igniter body with female pin connectors and a double wing mounting bracket. It can be used as a bake or broil igniter replacement on compatible models. It directly replaces WB13K21, WB13K12, WB13K13, WB13K14, WB13K0012, WB13K0013, WB13K0014, WB13K0021, WB13K10009, WB13K10026, IG21, 2494, AP2020569, AH231280, EA231280, EAP231280, PS231280, and PD00001023. Note: if the connector does not match your range's harness, cut the connector and splice the wires using porcelain wire nuts — do not use standard plastic wire nuts near the oven burner. Installs in 15–30 minutes with basic hand tools.
Quick Answer
The XPARTCO WB13K21 Gas Oven Flat Igniter with Harness fixes GE, Hotpoint, RCA, and Kenmore gas ovens that won't heat, where the igniter glows but the burner never lights, or where preheat takes too long. Flat igniter, 3.4–3.6A, 115V. 1-1/2" ceramic block, 3-3/4"L x 2-1/8"W x 13/16"H bracket. 7-7/8" harness with female pins. If connector doesn't match, splice with porcelain wire nuts. Replaces WB13K21, WB13K12, WB13K13, WB13K14, IG21, AP2020569, AH231280, PS231280.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Oven not heating — igniter not reaching operating temperature or gas valve not opening
Igniter glows orange but the gas burner never lights
Oven takes more than 90 seconds to ignite after turning on
Oven preheats very slowly — weak igniter no longer drawing enough current to fully open the gas valve
Gas smell when oven is turned on but burner does not light
Igniter visibly cracked, broken, or burned out
Bake or broil function not working on compatible models
Replaces Part Numbers
This oven igniter directly replaces the following OEM and cross-reference part numbers:

Installation Notes
⚠️ Gas Appliance Safety Warning This part is installed in a gas oven. Always unplug the range and shut off the gas supply at the shutoff valve before beginning any repair. If you smell gas at any point during or after installation, leave the area immediately and contact your gas utility provider. Do not restore power or gas until the repair is fully complete and all connections are secure. If you are not comfortable working on gas appliances, have this part installed by a qualified technician.
⚠️ Handle With Care — Fragile Igniter Element The silicon carbide igniter element is extremely fragile and sensitive to skin oils. Do not touch the igniter element with bare hands — oils from skin will create hot spots that prematurely burn the igniter. Handle only by the bracket, harness, and mounting wings. To install: unplug the range and shut off gas. Remove the oven racks and oven bottom panel. Disconnect the old igniter's wire connector at the connection point inside the oven. Remove the two screws securing the mounting bracket. If the new igniter's connector matches the harness, plug it in directly. If it does not match, cut the connector from the new igniter and use the included porcelain wire nuts to splice the wires to your range's existing harness — do not use plastic wire nuts. Mount the new igniter using the double wing bracket and two screws. Reinstall the oven bottom panel, restore gas and power, and run a bake cycle to confirm the igniter glows and the burner lights within 60–90 seconds. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, socket set, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
My igniter glows but the burner never lights — is it the igniter?
Yes, almost certainly. A gas oven igniter that glows orange or red but does not light the burner is a classic sign of a weakened igniter. The igniter must draw enough electrical current — typically 3.2 amps or more — to hold the gas safety valve fully open. As the silicon carbide element ages, its resistance increases and it draws progressively less current. When the current drops below the threshold needed to hold the valve open, the valve never fully opens, even though the igniter appears to glow. If the igniter glows for more than 90 seconds without lighting the burner, it needs to be replaced.
Why can't I use plastic wire nuts to splice the igniter wires?
The igniter is located inside the oven cavity, directly adjacent to the gas burner, where temperatures during operation can easily exceed what standard plastic wire nuts are rated for. Plastic wire nuts can melt or deform at oven operating temperatures, potentially exposing bare wire connections and creating a short circuit or fire hazard. Porcelain wire nuts are specifically rated for high-temperature applications and are the only safe connector to use when splicing igniter wires near the oven burner. Always use porcelain — never plastic — for any wiring connection inside the oven cavity.
Can this igniter be used for both bake and broil?
Yes — on compatible GE, Hotpoint, and Kenmore models, the WB13K21 can be used to replace both the bake igniter (lower burner) and the broil igniter (upper burner), as both igniters use the same part number and specifications on these models. Verify your range's parts diagram to confirm that both igniters use the WB13K21 before ordering for the broil position.
How do I test if the oven igniter has failed?
The most practical test is observation: if the igniter glows for more than 90 seconds without the burner lighting, it has weakened. You can also use a multimeter — disconnect the igniter wires and measure resistance. A working WB13K21-style igniter typically reads between 40 and 90 ohms at room temperature (a lower resistance draws more current; a very high resistance means the element is nearly failed). An open circuit (infinite resistance) means the element has burned through completely. If the igniter does not glow at all when the oven is turned on, it has completely failed electrically.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine GE OEM part, but is manufactured from silicon carbide, ceramic, metal, and plastic to match the amperage draw, dimensions, and performance of the original WB13K21 oven igniter.

XPARTCO XGR403 Gas Oven Round Igniter Replaces WB2X9154, 5304401265, 4342528
The XPARTCO XGR403 is a universal round-style oven igniter for gas ranges from GE, Hotpoint, Kenmore, RCA, Roper, Whirlpool, and Electrolux. This is a silicon carbide (carborundum) igniter, and it does double duty as both the spark source and the safety valve trigger: when the oven or broiler calls for heat, current flows through the igniter and it begins to glow. As it heats up, its electrical resistance drops, which increases the current draw through the circuit — and it's that rising current draw, not the glow itself, that eventually pulls in the gas safety valve and lets gas flow to be ignited by the now white-hot igniter tip. If the igniter can't draw enough current, the valve never opens, even though the igniter is clearly glowing.
This is why a weakening round igniter produces such a specific and recognizable symptom: it glows, sometimes for well over a minute, but the oven or broiler never actually lights. GE's own service guidance puts a number on this — if the igniter glows for more than about 90 seconds without opening the valve, it no longer has enough draw to do its job and needs to be replaced. This igniter measures approximately 3-1/2" long, is rated 120V at 2.5–3.0A, and ships as a complete kit with a mounting bracket, ceramic wire nut connectors, and installation instructions. It directly replaces WB2X9154, 5304401265, 4342528, GR403, AR403, SGR403, WB13K10027, WB13K3, WB13K4, WB13K1, AP2014008, PS243425, 300259, 319887, 327617, 330689, 337263, 4336387, 4338008, 8053999, and WB00X6640.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Danger — Gas Appliance Turn off the gas supply to the range at the shutoff valve and unplug the range (or shut off its circuit breaker) before beginning. After reassembly, check every disturbed gas connection for leaks using a soapy water solution — bubbling indicates a leak. If you ever smell gas at any point during this repair, do not attempt to light the range or operate any switches; leave the area immediately and contact your gas utility or a qualified technician.
⚠️ Fragile — Handle By The Bracket Only Wear work gloves. Remove the oven racks and, if replacing the broil igniter, the broiler pan and floor panel as needed to access the igniter assembly, typically located at the front of the burner tube. Photograph the wiring connections before disconnecting anything. This igniter is extremely fragile — the ceramic body and silicon carbide tip can crack from a light bump or from skin oils weakening the material over time, so handle it only by the metal mounting bracket, never by the ceramic body itself. Disconnect the wire leads at the ceramic wire nut splices (or the terminal connector, depending on your model), then remove the mounting screw and lift the old igniter free. Position the new XGR403 in the same location and orientation relative to the burner tube — proper alignment matters, since the igniter needs to sit close enough to reliably ignite the gas once the valve opens. Secure the mounting bracket, then reconnect the wire leads using the included ceramic wire nuts, twisting them securely and confirming no bare wire is exposed. Restore the gas supply and power, then test the burner and check for leaks at any connection you touched. Watch the igniter glow through a full ignition cycle to confirm the burner lights well within 90 seconds. Tools needed: Phillips or flat-blade screwdriver (model-dependent), soapy water for leak testing, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
My igniter glows bright orange but the oven never lights. Is this the right part?
Yes, this is the single most common symptom of a failing round igniter. As the igniter ages, its silicon carbide element degrades and can no longer draw enough current to trip open the gas safety valve, even though it still glows. A well-known rule of thumb: if the igniter is glowing for more than about 90 seconds without the burner lighting, it has lost the current draw needed to do its job, and replacement is the correct fix.
Can I use this for both the bake and broil igniter?
On many GE-platform ranges, yes — the same round igniter design serves both the bake and broil burner positions. However, some model platforms use different igniters for bake versus broil, so before ordering, confirm which compartment's igniter has failed and verify your specific model number to make sure this is the correct igniter for that position.
Will this fit my flat-style igniter oven?
No. This is a round-style (carborundum rod) igniter and is not interchangeable with a flat-style (hot surface) igniter used on other gas range platforms — the mounting, shape, and electrical characteristics are different. Check the shape of your original igniter before ordering: a round igniter looks like a short ceramic rod or cylinder, while a flat igniter has a thin, flat ceramic element.
The igniter doesn't glow at all. Is it definitely the igniter itself?
Not necessarily. A round igniter that doesn't glow at all can also point to a wiring problem, a failed connection at the ceramic wire nut splice, or in some cases a bad oven control board sending no signal to the igniter circuit. Check that the wiring is intact and securely connected before assuming the igniter itself has failed completely — a partial glow that just won't sustain, versus zero glow whatsoever, can point you toward different causes.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine brand-specific OEM part, but is manufactured to match the round silicon carbide design, 120V/2.5–3.0A electrical rating, and mounting configuration of the OEM igniters (including WB2X9154) used in compatible GE, Hotpoint, Kenmore, RCA, Roper, Whirlpool, and Electrolux gas ranges.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Gas Appliance Safety Warning This part is used in gas ranges. Always shut off the gas supply at the shutoff valve and unplug the range from the electrical outlet before beginning any repair. If you smell gas at any point during or after installation, leave the area immediately and contact your gas utility provider. If you are not confident working on gas appliances, have this part installed by a qualified appliance technician.
⚠️ Handle With Extreme Care — Fragile Silicon Carbide Element The silicon carbide igniter element is extremely fragile and will crack or break with minimal force. Never touch the ceramic bar with bare hands — oils from skin will damage the element and cause premature failure. Handle only by the bracket, wires, and ceramic wire nut connectors. To install: unplug the range and shut off gas. Remove the oven racks and oven bottom panel. Disconnect the old igniter's wire connector (or cut wires if splicing). Unscrew the mounting bracket from the burner assembly and remove the old igniter. Position the new PB04001 igniter on the burner bracket and secure with the mounting screws. If the female terminals plug directly into the existing wiring, connect them. If wires need to be spliced, use the included ceramic wire nuts — never use standard plastic wire nuts near the oven burner. Reinstall the oven bottom panel and racks. Restore gas and power, then run a test cycle to confirm the igniter heats and the burner lights within 60 seconds. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does a hot surface igniter work on a Viking gas oven?
The hot surface igniter is wired in series with the oven's gas safety valve. When the oven is turned on, electrical current flows through the igniter, heating the silicon carbide element until it reaches ignition temperature — typically glowing bright orange. As the element heats, its electrical resistance changes and the current draw increases to 3.2–3.6 amps. At that amperage level, the gas safety valve opens and gas flows to the burner, where the glowing igniter ignites it. If the igniter weakens and can no longer draw enough current to open the safety valve, the oven will glow but the burner will never fire — this is the most common cause of a Viking oven not heating.
What is the difference between PB04001 and PB040001?
PB04001 and PB040001 are the same oven igniter — PB04001 is the shortened version of the PB040001 part number. Both refer to the same flat silicon carbide glow bar igniter used on compatible Viking gas ranges. This listing covers both designations and the part functions identically regardless of which number is referenced.
How do I know if my oven igniter has failed?
The most common sign is an oven that glows orange but the burner never lights. A healthy igniter glows bright orange and ignites the burner within about 60 seconds. If it glows dimly, stays on indefinitely without the burner lighting, or does not glow at all when the oven is turned on, the igniter has failed. You can also test with a multimeter — with the oven cold and unplugged, a working igniter shows resistance of approximately 40–90 ohms; an open circuit confirms failure. Visually inspect the element for cracks, dark spots, or a broken ceramic bar.
Why must I use ceramic wire nuts instead of standard plastic ones?
Standard plastic wire nuts are not rated for the temperatures inside an oven cavity — they will melt or degrade near the burner, exposing bare wires and creating a safety hazard. Ceramic wire nuts (included with this igniter) are heat-rated for oven burner temperatures and provide a safe, permanent connection when splicing is required. Always use only ceramic wire nuts for any wiring connections near the oven burner.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine Viking OEM part, but is manufactured from silicon carbide and high-temperature materials to match the electrical specifications and dimensions of the original 065650-000 oven bake igniter.

WPW10415450 Genuine OEM Whirlpool Range Burner Knob
The WPW10415450 is a genuine Whirlpool OEM surface burner control knob for gas ranges and cooktops. This is the knob you turn to light and adjust a surface burner — it fits onto a D-shaped valve stem behind the control panel, and its position controls how far the gas valve opens, from off through lite, hi, medium, and low. Markings printed around the perimeter line up with an indicator arrow on the control panel so you can see exactly what setting you've selected.
Finished in stainless steel/chrome, approximately 2" in diameter. Over years of use, the knob's internal D-shaped socket can wear out and stop gripping the valve stem securely, or the knob itself can crack, melt slightly from heat exposure, or simply wear down from repeated turning. A worn or damaged knob typically shows up as difficulty adjusting the burner heat, a knob that feels loose or wobbly, a knob that spins without turning the valve, or one that no longer seats securely onto the shaft. It directly replaces W10415450, AP6021125, 2118719, PS11754446, EAP11754446, W10294797, W10325899, and PD00007159.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Range Or Shut Off Breaker Before Starting Disconnect power at the outlet or shut off the circuit breaker before beginning. Pull the old knob straight off the valve stem — on most models this requires no tools, just firm, even pressure in the direction of the indicator arrow. Confirm the new WPW10415450 knob by checking that the part number matches before installing. Align the top of the new knob with the control panel's indicator arrow, then press the knob onto the D-shaped shaft until you feel and hear it click securely into place. Restore power and test that the knob turns smoothly through its full range, with the markings lining up correctly against the indicator arrow at each setting. Tools needed: none.
Frequently Asked Questions
My knob spins but doesn't seem to change the burner flame. Is this the right part?
Yes, this is a common symptom of a worn knob. Over time, the internal D-shaped socket that grips the valve stem can wear out, letting the knob spin independently of the shaft instead of turning it. Replacing the knob restores that positive connection so turning it actually opens and closes the gas valve as expected.
I found a knob online that looks identical but has a different part number. Will it work?
Not necessarily, and this is worth being careful about. Whirlpool uses several burner knobs, including W10284885 and W10316664, that closely resemble this one visually but use different internal shaft sockets and are not compatible with this valve stem. Always match the exact part number rather than relying on appearance, and verify against your model number if you're unsure.
Do I need any tools to replace this knob?
No. This is a simple pull-off, push-on repair — remove the old knob by pulling it straight off the shaft, then press the new one on until it clicks into place. No screws, no disassembly of the control panel required.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a genuine OEM part, manufactured by Whirlpool to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance. It matches the original D-shaft socket, finish, and setting markings of the burner knob originally installed on your range.
