Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Range or Turn Off Breaker Before Starting Disconnect power before beginning and allow the oven to cool completely. Open the oven door and remove all racks. The bake element is located at the bottom of the oven cavity. Remove the screws securing the element bracket to the rear oven wall — typically one or two Phillips screws at the back. Carefully pull the element forward toward the door to expose the two 1/4" push-on wire connectors behind the oven rear wall. Note the position of each wire before disconnecting — take a photo. Pull each wire connector off the element terminals by gripping the connector (not the wire) and pulling straight back. Connect the two wires to the new WP74010750 element's terminals, slide the element back into position, and secure the mounting screws. Restore power and run a bake cycle to confirm the element heats and glows red. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my bake element has failed?
The clearest sign is an oven that does not heat, takes much longer than usual to preheat, or bakes food unevenly with the bottom undercooked. When the bake element is working, it should glow bright red during a bake cycle. If it does not glow at all, the element has failed. You can also visually inspect the element for burn marks, blistering, cracks, or a visible break in the coil. A multimeter continuity test will confirm failure — a working element shows continuity (resistance of approximately 10–100 ohms), while a failed element reads open circuit. If the element trips the circuit breaker when selected, the element coil has shorted to the metal housing — replace it immediately.
What is the difference between WP74010750 and WP74003019?
Both are Genuine OEM Whirlpool oven bake elements but for different model families and with different wattage ratings. The WP74010750 is rated 2585W and is used on CE, JDS, and MES-series electric ranges. The WP74003019 is rated 2800W and is used on a different set of models. They are not interchangeable — always verify your model number to confirm which element is correct for your oven before ordering.
Is it normal for a bake element to arc or spark before it fully fails?
Yes — it is not unusual for a bake element to arc or spark at a weak spot before the coil fully burns through. If you see sparking, arcing, or a bright flash from the element area, immediately turn off the oven and disconnect power. Do not use the oven again until the element has been replaced. An arcing element can damage the oven liner and, in rare cases, pose a fire risk. The good news is that once you replace the WP74010750 element, the oven should perform normally again.
Are the wires interchangeable on the bake element terminals?
On most electric range bake elements — including the WP74010750 — the two terminal wires are interchangeable. The bake element is a resistance heater with no polarity, so either wire can connect to either terminal and the element will heat correctly. However, it is good practice to photograph the original connection before disconnecting to ensure you reconnect in the same configuration, particularly if one wire is color-coded differently from the other.
Is this a Genuine OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a Genuine OEM part manufactured by Whirlpool to factory specifications. It is the exact same bake element installed in compatible Whirlpool, Jenn-Air, Maytag, and related brand electric ranges from the factory — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance.

WP4391960 Genuine OEM Whirlpool Dryer Heating Element
The WP4391960 is a Genuine OEM Whirlpool replacement dryer heating element used in older-generation Whirlpool-family electric dryers, including Whirlpool, Kenmore, Roper, Estate, Amana, and Admiral models — particularly the LE, EL, and early LG series dryers. The heating element is the primary heat source in an electric dryer — a nickel-chromium resistance coil wound around ceramic insulators inside a steel housing that generates heat when electrical current passes through it. When the coil burns through, the circuit opens and the dryer produces no heat. A shorted coil that contacts the housing is a fire hazard and requires immediate replacement.
This Genuine OEM part is manufactured by Whirlpool to factory specifications and is rated 5200W / 240V with 1/4" male spade terminals. Note: this element uses 1/4" terminals — different from the 5/16" terminals on the 279838 and WP3387747 elements. The wire kit and wire nuts (part 279457) are no longer included with this element and must be ordered separately if the original wires are damaged. It consolidates a very large list of older cross-reference numbers including 4391960, 2013, 279247, 279248, 279410, 279411, 696579, 696326, 697290, 786077, AP6009347, PS11742505, and dozens more. Installs in 20–45 minutes with basic hand tools.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Dryer Before Starting — Do Not Touch the Coil Wire Disconnect power before beginning. Remove the back panel of the dryer to access the heating element housing. On older LE-series Whirlpool models, the element housing is mounted at the lower rear of the dryer and may have a top panel over the housing that must be removed before the element can be freed. Photograph all wiring before disconnecting. Note: the element's wires and wire nuts (279457 kit) are no longer included with the WP4391960 — if your existing wires are in good condition, reuse them; if damaged, order 279457 separately before beginning. Do not touch the new element's coil wire at any point — skin oils create hot spots that will prematurely burn the element. Disconnect the old element wires, unscrew the housing mounting screws, and remove the old element. Install the new WP4391960 in the same orientation, reconnect wiring, reinstall the housing, and restore power. Run a test heat cycle to confirm normal operation. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, 1/4" nut driver.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between WP4391960 and 279838 or WP3387747?
All three are Genuine OEM Whirlpool dryer heating elements, but for different generations of dryers and with different terminal sizes. The WP4391960 (5200W, 1/4" spade terminals) is for older-generation Whirlpool LE/EL series and early Kenmore dryers. The 279838 (5400W, 5/16" terminals) is for standard-capacity mid-generation Whirlpool-family dryers. The WP3387747 (5200W, 5/16" terminals) is for newer higher-capacity models like the Duet, Cabrio, HE, and GEW/GEQ series. The terminal size difference is important — the WP4391960 uses 1/4" spade terminals, while the other two use 5/16" terminals. Always verify your model number before ordering.
Why does this element have so many cross-reference part numbers?
The WP4391960 consolidates a very large number of older Whirlpool heating element part numbers that were used across many different model runs over the years. As Whirlpool refined the design and standardized parts across its lineup, it consolidated these older numbers into the current WP4391960. If your dryer's parts diagram shows any of the hundreds of older cross-reference numbers listed above, the WP4391960 is the correct current replacement.
Why is the wire kit (279457) not included?
Whirlpool changed the packaging of this part during a production revision and no longer includes the wire kit and wire nuts that were previously bundled with the element. If your existing element wires are in good condition, you can reuse them — carefully transfer each wire to the corresponding terminal on the new element, maintaining the original connections. If any wires are burned, melted, or damaged, order part 279457 (wire kit) separately before beginning the repair.
How do I test if the heating element has failed?
Unplug the dryer and disconnect the element terminals. Set your multimeter to continuity or resistance mode. A working 5200W/240V element shows a resistance reading — typically around 9–12 ohms. No continuity (open circuit) means the coil has burned through. Also test each terminal individually to the metal housing frame — if continuity exists between a terminal and the housing, the element is shorted to ground and must be replaced immediately as a fire hazard.
Is this a Genuine OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a Genuine OEM part manufactured by Whirlpool to factory specifications. It is the exact same heating element installed in compatible older-generation Whirlpool, Kenmore, Roper, and related brand electric dryers from the factory — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance.

⚠️ Unplug Refrigerator Before Starting — Check For Blockages First Unplug the refrigerator and safely store any food that could spoil while the power is off. Wear work gloves. Before disassembling anything, check whether food items or packaging have been accidentally pushed against the damper mechanism, since this can cause the same temperature symptoms as a genuinely failed part. Locate the evaporator cover, typically in the freezer or at the back of the fresh food compartment depending on your model, and remove it to access the damper assembly. Photograph the wiring connection to the actuator motor before disconnecting anything. Disconnect the wiring harness from the old damper assembly, remove any mounting clips or fasteners, and pull it free. Install the new W11236851 in the same position, reconnect the wiring harness fully, and secure any mounting hardware. Reinstall the evaporator cover. Restore power and monitor both the refrigerator and freezer temperatures over the next 24 hours to confirm consistent, accurate cooling in both compartments. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver (model-dependent), work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
My refrigerator section is too warm but the freezer is fine. Is this the part I need?
Yes, this is a common symptom of a failing air damper. Since this damper controls how much cold air moves from the freezer into the refrigerator compartment, a stuck or broken damper can leave the refrigerator section too warm even while the freezer maintains a normal temperature.
My freezer or fridge is too cold instead of too warm. Could this still be the damper?
Yes. A damper stuck in the open position can let too much cold air flow into the refrigerator compartment, making it colder than intended, while a damper stuck closed can have the opposite effect. Both too-cold and too-warm symptoms in either compartment can point to this same part.
What should I check before assuming the damper itself is broken?
Check that nothing — food packaging, containers, or shifted items — is physically blocking the damper mechanism, since accidental blocking can produce the same temperature symptoms as a genuinely worn or failed damper, without requiring a replacement part at all.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a genuine OEM part, manufactured by Whirlpool to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance. It matches the original damper and actuator design of the air damper diffuser originally installed in your refrigerator.

WR60X10209 Genuine OEM GE Refrigerator DC Condenser Fan Motor
The WR60X10209 is a Genuine OEM GE replacement DC condenser fan motor compatible with a wide range of GE, Hotpoint, RCA, Kenmore, Haier, Monogram, and Café refrigerators in the GSS, GSL, HSS, PSS, PSC, GCE, PCE, and related series. The condenser fan motor is located near the compressor at the rear bottom of the refrigerator. It circulates air across the condenser coils to dissipate heat from the hot refrigerant before it returns to the evaporator — this is an essential step in the refrigeration cycle. Without the condenser fan running, heat builds up around the compressor and condenser coils, causing the refrigerator to run continuously, cool inefficiently, or trip the compressor's thermal overload protection.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Refrigerator Before Starting Unplug the refrigerator before beginning. Pull the refrigerator away from the wall to access the rear lower back panel. Remove the screws securing the back panel to expose the compressor, condenser coils, and condenser fan assembly. The condenser fan motor is mounted on a bracket near the compressor with the fan blade facing the condenser coil. Take a photo of the wire connector orientation before disconnecting. Disconnect the 4-pin wire connector from the motor. Remove the mounting screws securing the motor to the bracket and slide the old motor out. Note the orientation of the fan blade on the motor shaft — the blade must be reinstalled in the same direction on the new motor (or transferred from the old motor if the new motor does not include a blade). Install the new WR60X10209 motor, reconnect the wire connector, reinstall the back panel, restore power, and confirm the condenser fan spins when the compressor starts. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, 1/4" nut driver.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the condenser fan motor do in a refrigerator?
The condenser fan motor drives a fan blade that circulates ambient air across the condenser coils at the rear of the refrigerator. The condenser coils carry hot high-pressure refrigerant that has just been compressed — the fan removes heat from the refrigerant so it can cool, condense, and return to the evaporator to absorb heat from inside the refrigerator. Without the condenser fan running, heat builds up around the compressor and coils, causing the refrigerator to lose cooling efficiency, run continuously, or — in severe cases — trip the compressor's thermal overload and shut down entirely.
Why does this motor use DC voltage instead of AC?
Modern GE refrigerators use DC motors for the condenser fan because they are more energy-efficient, quieter, and easier to speed-control by the refrigerator's electronic control board than traditional AC motors. The refrigerator's main control board converts household 120V AC power to 11.3V DC to supply the condenser fan motor. This DC motor runs at a variable speed under board control, which allows GE's refrigerators to optimize fan speed based on cooling demand.
How do I confirm the condenser fan motor has failed?
Pull the refrigerator away from the wall, unplug it, and remove the rear lower panel. Spin the condenser fan blade by hand — if it is stiff, wobbles, or seizes, the motor bearing has failed. If the blade spins freely but the motor does not run when the refrigerator is plugged in and the compressor starts, check for DC voltage at the motor connector using a multimeter. If the board is supplying approximately 11–12V DC to the motor but the motor is not running, the motor has failed electrically. If no voltage is present, the control board may not be supplying power — a less common but possible failure mode.
Does this motor come with the fan blade?
The WR60X10209 is the motor only — the fan blade is typically not included and should be transferred from the old motor. When removing the old motor, carefully pull the fan blade off the motor shaft (it presses on — no hardware is typically needed). Press the blade onto the new motor shaft in the same orientation. If the fan blade is cracked or damaged, it should be replaced separately. Installing the blade in the wrong direction will reverse the airflow direction and reduce cooling efficiency.
Is this a Genuine OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a Genuine OEM part manufactured by GE to factory specifications. It is the exact same DC condenser fan motor installed in compatible GE, Hotpoint, and related brand refrigerators from the factory — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance.

Genuine OEM WPW10185972 Dryer Timer
The Genuine OEM Whirlpool WPW10185972 is the dryer timer, the electromechanical control that advances through your dryer's preset cycles. Its internal contacts open and close the circuits that control heat and the drum motor, so the dryer runs for the right amount of time at the right setting. When the timer fails, the dryer may not start, may not advance through the cycle, or may over-dry or under-dry your clothes.
This is the original Whirlpool part, also sold under the older number W10185972. It is listed for Whirlpool-built electric dryers sold as Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana, Admiral, Roper, Inglis, and Crosley. Check the part number before ordering, because a similar timer, WPW10185971, is listed for different models.
Quick Answer
The Genuine OEM WPW10185972 Dryer Timer fixes a Whirlpool-built electric dryer that won't start, won't advance through its cycle, or over-dries or under-dries because the timer has failed. It is also listed as W10185972. Classic symptom: the dial turns but the dryer doesn't run or doesn't engage all the cycle selections.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Dryer won't start or won't turn on

Remove the control panel as shown in your model's service guide to reach the timer. Before disconnecting anything, photograph the wire connections or note the position of each wire, since the timer has many terminals. Move the wires one at a time to the new timer, mount it, replace the knob, and restore power. Test each cycle selection before closing the dryer.
Frequently Asked Questions
My dryer won't start. Is this the part I need?
A failed timer is a common cause, especially if the dial turns but the dryer doesn't run or doesn't engage every cycle selection. The door switch, start switch, and thermal fuse can cause the same symptom, so check those first.
Is WPW10185972 the same as W10185972?
Yes. W10185972 is the older Whirlpool number for the same timer, and this part covers both numbers.
Can I use WPW10185971 instead?
No, don't assume so. WPW10185971 is a separate timer listed for different models. Use the number your model calls out, or contact our support team to confirm before ordering.
Will this fit my dryer?
It is listed for many Whirlpool-built electric dryers, but the model list above is only a sample. Check your model number against your parts diagram, or contact our support team and we'll verify it before you order.

Genuine OEM WH08X37938 Washer Lid Switch Assembly
The WH08X37938 is a genuine OEM lid switch (lid lock) assembly from GE for GE and Hotpoint top-load washers, also used on select Kenmore models. The assembly locks the lid while the washer is running and releases it when the cycle ends, and it tells the control board the lid is closed and it's safe to run. When it wears out, cracks, or fails electrically, the washer may refuse to start, stop in the middle of a cycle, show a lid or door lock error, or fail to lock the lid at all.
This assembly replaces the original lock and switch as a unit, so you do not have to diagnose which internal contact has failed. As a genuine OEM part, not an aftermarket equivalent, it matches the original factory fit and specification. It mounts on the washer cabinet with an electrical connector and is a straightforward repair, usually done in under an hour.
Quick Answer
The Genuine OEM WH08X37938 Lid Switch Assembly fixes a GE or Hotpoint top-load washer that won't start, stops mid-cycle, won't lock the lid, or shows a lid or door lock error because the lid lock is worn or has failed. Complete replacement lock and switch assembly, genuine OEM. Classic symptom: you close the lid and nothing happens, or the washer starts then stops and signals a lid or lock fault.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Washer won't start when the lid is closed
Washer stops partway through the wash, rinse, or spin
Lid will not lock, or stays locked after the cycle ends
Lid or door lock error codes
Loose, cracked, or visibly damaged lid lock

⚠️ Unplug Power and Shut Off Water Unplug the washer and turn off the water supply before starting. Work gloves are recommended. Open the lid and, following your model's service guide, remove the top panel or cabinet section to reach the lid lock mounted on the cabinet. Note the position of the old assembly, disconnect its wiring connector, and remove the screws holding it in place. Fit the new assembly in the same position, secure it, and reconnect the connector. Reassemble the washer, restore power and water, and run a short cycle to confirm the lid locks, the washer starts, and the lid releases at the end.
Frequently Asked Questions
My washer won't start with the lid closed. Is this the part I need?
A failed lid lock is a common cause. The control board won't start a cycle unless it sees the lid is closed and locked. Check that the lid closes fully and that nothing is blocking it. If it still won't start, the lid lock is a likely cause.
Is a lid switch the same as a lid lock?
On these washers, the lid switch and lock are combined in one assembly, which this part replaces.
My old part is marked WH08X32697 or WH08X31577. Will this work?
Those numbers are on the Replaces list. Compare the connector and mounting against your old part, or contact our support team with your model number and we'll confirm.
Will this fit my front-load washer?
No. This is for top-load washers.
Is this an OEM part?
Yes. This is a genuine OEM GE part, not an aftermarket equivalent, so it matches the original factory fit and specification.

XPARTCO W10195039 Dishwasher Float Switch
The XPARTCO W10195039 is an aftermarket replacement float switch for Whirlpool-built dishwashers sold under the Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Kenmore, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Amana and related brand names. The float switch is the safety device that shuts off the water fill valve if the water level gets too high before the timed fill cycle ends, so a failed float can mean overfilling or a dishwasher that won't fill properly.
This is a direct-fit aftermarket replacement for the original Whirlpool float switch, which is sold as W10195039 and WPW10195039. Float problems can look like valve or control problems, so check the float for a stuck or damaged action before replacing it.
Quick Answer
The XPARTCO W10195039 Float Switch fixes a Whirlpool-built dishwasher that overfills, leaks from too much water, or won't fill because the float is stuck, damaged, or no longer switching. It is also listed as WPW10195039. Classic symptom: water keeps filling past the normal level, or the dishwasher won't fill and the float looks stuck or cracked.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Dishwasher overfills or the water level gets too high
Water leaking from too much water in the tub
Dishwasher won't fill because the float switch is stuck or failed
Float is cracked, broken, or doesn't move freely

W10195039 is the older Whirlpool number and WPW10195039 is its current replacement. W10734532 comes from a single retailer cross-reference, so confirm against your dishwasher's parts diagram, or contact our support team, if your model calls out a different number.
Compatibility
This float switch is listed for Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Kenmore, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Amana, and Inglis dishwashers, including these examples:
Kenmore 66513979K017, 66515049K111, 66513964K017, 66512776K310

Install the new float switch in the same position, reconnect the wires, and check that the float moves freely before closing the dishwasher. Run a cycle and check for leaks.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the float switch do?
It shuts off the water fill valve if the water level gets too high before the timed fill cycle ends. It is a safety device that helps prevent overflow.
My dishwasher still won't fill. Will this fix it?
Only if the float is the cause. A dishwasher that won't fill can also have a bad inlet valve, a clogged inlet screen, or a control problem. Check that the float moves freely and test the valve first.
Is W10195039 the same as WPW10195039?
Yes. W10195039 is the older Whirlpool number and WPW10195039 is its replacement. This float switch covers both.
Will this fit my dishwasher?
It is listed for many Whirlpool-built dishwashers, but the model list above is only a sample. Check your model number against your parts diagram, or contact our support team and we'll verify it before you order.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Washer And Shut Off Water Supply Before Starting Unplug your washer from the wall outlet and turn off the water supply before beginning. Wear work gloves. Remove the screws holding the access panel in place at the back of the machine, then carefully remove the panel and set it aside. Locate the lid switch assembly near the top, center of the washer's interior. Use a Phillips and flathead screwdriver to unscrew the three screws that hold the lid switch assembly in place. Disconnect the wire harness from the old lid switch and carefully remove it from the machine. Install the new 3949247 into the machine in the exact same manner the old switch was removed. Connect the wire harness to the new switch. Reattach the three screws to secure the switch in place. Replace the access panel and reattach its screws. Turn on the water supply and plug in the washer. Run a test cycle with the lid closed to confirm the washer starts and spins normally. Tools needed: Phillips head screwdriver, flat head screwdriver.
Frequently Asked Questions
My washer agitates but won't spin. Is this the part I need?
Yes, this is a well-documented symptom of a failed lid switch. This switch tells the washer's control system that the lid is closed before allowing certain functions, and spin specifically often requires this signal — a failed switch commonly leaves agitation working while blocking spin.
Why does this switch fail over time?
The plastic on the switch's actuator can become brittle with age and break when the lid is closed roughly. It can also break from the movement of an unbalanced load causing parts of the washer to strike it during a cycle.
Is this the same as the 3949238 switch?
No, these are separate lid switch part numbers, despite the similar numbering. Our 3949238 listing is used on different models. Always confirm your exact part number from your washer's parts diagram or the sticker on your old switch before ordering.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine Whirlpool OEM part, but is manufactured to match the material, wiring, and switching function of the original 3949247V lid switch assembly used in compatible Whirlpool, Roper, Estate, Kenmore, Inglis, Crosley, Amana, and KitchenAid washers.
