W11688995 Genuine OEM Whirlpool Washer Water Inlet Valve (Cold)
The W11688995 is a genuine Whirlpool OEM cold water inlet valve for Whirlpool-built front-load washers. Whirlpool's newer front-load platforms use two separate single-function valves instead of one combined hot/cold valve body — this cold-side valve handles only the cold water supply, while a matching hot-side valve (sold separately as W11688994) handles the hot side. When the control calls for a cold fill, it energizes this valve's solenoid coils to open the water path; when the correct level is reached, the valve closes again. If this valve fails to open, the washer won't take on cold water; if it fails to seal fully closed, water can trickle into the drum even when the washer isn't running.
Because this is a dedicated single-function valve, a failure here shows up in a very specific way: cold-only fills stop working or slow down dramatically, while hot-only fills (governed by the separate W11688994 valve) continue working normally. Whirlpool's own service guidance links this valve to F8 E1 and LO FL fill-related error codes. Common failure modes include mineral or sediment buildup that prevents the valve from sealing, a burned-out solenoid coil, or a worn internal diaphragm. It directly replaces W11036930, W11316256, W11486361, AP7218603, PS17216730, and EAP17216730. As a genuine OEM part, the W11688995 is manufactured by Whirlpool to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance.
Quick Answer
The W11688995 Genuine OEM Whirlpool Washer Water Inlet Valve (Cold) fixes Whirlpool-built front-load washers where cold water won't fill, fills slowly, overfills, leaks into the drum when off, or throws an F8 E1 or LO FL error code. 120V, 50/60Hz, two-coil cold-only valve, 1/2" NPT threaded connections. Replaces W11036930, W11316256, W11486361, AP7218603, PS17216730, EAP17216730. This is the cold-side valve only — the companion hot-side valve is sold separately as W11688994.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Washer won't fill with cold water while hot water fills normally
Cold water fills much more slowly than it used to
Washer overfills or takes on more water than the cycle calls for
Water trickling or leaking into the drum on the cold side when the washer is off
F8 E1 or LO FL error code displayed on the control panel
Cycle stalling at the fill step and never advancing to wash
Cold-wash or cold-rinse cycles specifically affected while warm/hot cycles run fine
Water pooling underneath or behind the washer near the cold supply connection

Note — cold side only: This is the cold water valve. The matching hot water valve for these same washers is sold separately under part number W11688994. The two are not interchangeable — each is a dedicated single-function valve, and installing this cold valve in place of the hot valve (or vice versa) will not correctly control water temperature. If both valves need replacement, order both part numbers. Always verify your full model number before ordering. Contact our support team with your model number if you're unsure.

⚠️ Shut Off Water Supply And Unplug Washer Before Starting — Have A Towel Ready Unplug the washer or shut off its circuit breaker, and shut off both the hot and cold water supply valves before beginning. Wear work gloves. Disconnect the cold water supply line from the back of the valve first — have a towel or shallow pan ready, since residual water will spill out. Remove the rear screws securing the top panel, then slide the panel back and lift it off to access the valve assembly from inside the cabinet. Photograph the wiring connections before disconnecting anything, since the hot and cold valves sit side by side and it's easy to cross a wire. Disconnect the electrical connector from the old cold valve, remove its mounting screw or bracket, and pull the valve free — leave the hot valve (W11688994) undisturbed if it isn't also being replaced. Install the new W11688995 in the same position, secure the mounting screw, and reconnect the electrical connector fully. Reattach the cold water supply line, tightening securely by hand plus a partial turn with pliers — avoid overtightening plastic threaded fittings. Reinstall the top panel, restore the water supply, and check the connection for leaks before restoring power. Run a short cycle set to a cold wash and confirm the tub fills at the normal rate with no leaking underneath or behind the washer. Tools needed: 1/4" nut driver or socket, T-20 Torx bit, pliers, towel or shallow pan, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
Cold water won't fill but hot water works fine. Is this the right part?
Yes — that's exactly the symptom pattern this valve addresses. Because your washer uses two separate single-function valves rather than one combined valve, a fault on the cold side only affects cold fills while the hot valve (W11688994) keeps working independently. If cold-specific cycles are the ones failing, this cold valve is the correct part to replace.
Do I need to replace both the hot and cold valves at the same time?
Not necessarily. Since these are independent single-function valves, you only need to replace the one that has actually failed. If only cold fills are affected, replacing this W11688995 valve alone is sufficient. If both hot and cold fills are having problems, or if the valves are original and quite old, some people choose to replace both at once since they're already accessing the same area — but it's not required.
My washer shows an F8 E1 or LO FL error. Does that mean this valve is bad?
It's a strong indicator, but check the basics first. These codes generally mean the control didn't see water reach the expected level within its allotted fill time. Before replacing the valve, confirm the cold supply valve at the wall is fully open, check the inlet screen inside the valve port for sediment or debris, and make sure the cold fill hose isn't kinked. If those check out and cold water still won't fill properly, this valve is the likely cause.
Can I use this valve on the hot water side instead?
No. This is a dedicated cold-water valve, and the hot-water side uses a separate part number, W11688994. The two are built and calibrated for their specific supply line and are not interchangeable — installing the cold valve on the hot side (or vice versa) will not properly control water temperature during the cycle.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a genuine OEM part, manufactured by Whirlpool to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance. It includes the same two-coil solenoid design, seal, and flow-rate calibration as the cold water inlet valve originally installed in your front-load washer.

⚠️ Unplug Washer Before Starting Unplug the washer from the power outlet before beginning any repair. The damper vent is located in the drain system — typically accessible from the front lower panel or by removing the washer's access panel. Locate the existing damper vent on the drain hose or drain port. Press the tabs or release clips to remove the old damper vent from its snap-in mounting position. Align the new WH16X29509 damper vent with the mounting port and press firmly until it snaps into place. Restore power and run a short drain or rinse cycle to verify the washer drains correctly and no error codes are displayed. Tools needed: None for the damper vent itself; a screwdriver may be needed to remove the access panel on some models.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the washer damper vent do?
The damper vent is a one-way valve on the washer's drain system. During the drain cycle, it opens automatically to equalize the air pressure inside the drain hose, which allows water to drain quickly and completely. When draining stops, the flap closes to create a seal that prevents residual wastewater and lint from flowing back up the drain hose and into the drum — which would re-soil clothes that have already been washed.
What error codes does a failed damper vent cause on GE washers?
A blocked, stuck, or failed WH16X29509 damper vent is a known cause of error codes 38, 39, 40, and 84 on compatible GE GFW510, GFW550, and GFW650 series front-load washers. These codes are typically triggered when the control board detects a drain pressure or flow issue. Replacing the damper vent resolves the issue in many cases when the drain pump and hose are otherwise clear.
How do I know if my damper vent has failed?
Common signs of a failed damper vent include slow or incomplete draining, one of the error codes listed above, dirty water or lint reappearing on clothes after a wash cycle, or a stuck flap that is visibly open or closed when it should not be. You can inspect the damper vent by removing the access panel and checking whether the flap moves freely — it should open easily when you apply gentle pressure and spring closed when released.
Is the WH16X29509 compatible with GE Profile and GE Café washers?
The WH16X29509 is confirmed compatible with select GFW and PFW series models from GE and GE Profile. GE Café washers use different model series — verify your specific model number before ordering. Contact our support team if you need help confirming compatibility for your Café or Profile model.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine GE OEM part, but is manufactured from high-strength plastic to match the dimensions and performance of the original WH16X29509 damper vent.

WP21352320 Genuine OEM Whirlpool Washer Drive Belt
The WP21352320 is a genuine Whirlpool OEM drive belt for Whirlpool top-load washers. This belt connects the drive motor to the transmission at the bottom of the washer, and it's what actually spins the basket during the wash and spin cycles. Unlike a dryer's drum belt, which simply tumbles a drum, this washer drive belt has to transfer real torque to spin a heavy, water-filled basket, which puts it under considerably more mechanical stress.
Measuring approximately 51" long and 3/8" wide. A worn or broken belt produces a distinctive set of symptoms: the washer may not spin at all, spin only slowly, agitate poorly or not at all, fail to drain properly since the pump relies on the same drive system, or produce a burning smell or loud grinding noise as a worn belt slips against the pulley. One useful diagnostic tip worth knowing: a belt can look intact at a glance but still be worn out — if the sides of the belt appear shiny or glazed rather than matte, that's a sign of slippage-related wear even without a visible crack. It directly replaces 21001478, 21352320, 35-2073, 35-2320, AP6005822, WP21352320VP, and PS11738882.
Quick Answer
The WP21352320 Genuine OEM Whirlpool Washer Drive Belt fixes Whirlpool, Maytag, Roper, Admiral, Jenn-Air, Estate, Magic Chef, Crosley, Inglis, Norge, Amana, Kenmore, KitchenAid, and Ikea top-load washers with a drum that won't spin, spins slowly, won't agitate, won't drain, or produces a burning smell or loud grinding noise. Approximately 51" long, 3/8" wide. Replaces 21001478, 21352320, 35-2073, 35-2320, AP6005822, WP21352320VP, PS11738882. A belt can look intact but still be worn out — check the sides for a shiny, glazed appearance, which indicates slippage wear even without a visible crack.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Washer drum won't spin, or spins only slowly
Washer won't agitate during the wash cycle
Washer won't drain properly
Burning smell coming from the washer during operation
Loud grinding noise from underneath the washer
Washer that shakes or moves excessively during spin
Washer that won't start or stalls partway through a cycle

⚠️ Unplug Washer And Shut Off Water Supply Before Starting — Consider The Motor Pulley While You're In There Disconnect power at the outlet or shut off the circuit breaker, and shut off both the hot and cold water supply valves before beginning. Pull the washer out from the wall for full access. Wear work gloves. Locate the drive belt around the motor at the bottom of the washer. Use a flathead screwdriver or hex wrench to remove the screws holding the motor bracket in place, which releases tension on the belt. Carefully slide the motor bracket off the motor, and use pliers if needed to work the old belt off the pulley. While the bottom of the washer is accessible, this is a good time to inspect the motor pulley for wear as well, since it's a related component you'll already have exposed. Install the new WP21352320 belt around the pulley and transmission, following the same routing as the old belt, and make sure it's seated securely and tightened properly — a loose or improperly seated belt will slip and wear out quickly. Reattach the motor bracket with its screws. Restore the water supply and power, then run a test cycle to confirm the washer spins, agitates, and drains normally with no unusual noise. Tools needed: multi-bit screwdriver, hex wrench, standard pliers, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
My belt looks fine — no cracks or visible damage. Could it still need replacing?
Yes, and this is a common source of confusion. A belt can appear intact with no cracks and still be worn out. Check the sides of the belt closely: if they look shiny or glazed rather than having a matte, textured surface, that glazing indicates the belt has been slipping against the pulley, which is a clear sign of wear even without visible cracking.
My washer pumps and drains but the drum spins slowly or not at all. Is this the belt?
Yes, this is one of the most direct symptoms of a worn or slipping drive belt. Since this belt is what actually transfers the motor's power to spin the basket, a worn belt can slip under load, causing slow or absent spinning even though the motor itself and the drain pump are both working normally.
Should I replace the motor pulley at the same time?
It's worth inspecting while you have the bottom of the washer accessible, even if you don't end up replacing it. A worn pulley can accelerate wear on a brand-new belt, so checking its condition during this repair is a reasonable precaution, especially if your old belt showed the glazed, slipping-related wear pattern.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is a genuine OEM part, manufactured by Whirlpool to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance. It matches the original length, width, and routing configuration of the drive belt originally installed in your washer.

XPARTCO W11130362 Washer Suspension Rod Kit
The XPARTCO W11130362 is an aftermarket replacement suspension rod kit for Whirlpool top-load washers. The wash tub inside a top-load washer hangs suspended inside the cabinet, and this set of rods is what supports that tub and absorbs the vibration and movement it generates during unbalanced loads and high-speed spin. Without healthy suspension rods, the tub can bang against the cabinet, shake the whole machine, and produce loud, rhythmic noise that gets worse the more unbalanced a load is.
This kit includes 4 suspension rods, 4 bushings, and 4 suspension balls, plus installation instructions — everything needed to replace the full suspension system in one job. Each steel rod measures approximately 23.3" long, with plastic components at the connection points. Over time, the bushings and balls wear down, and the rods themselves can lose their damping effectiveness, producing a loud banging or rattling noise often described as a "death rattle" during spin. It directly replaces W10594080, W10735786, W10748956, W10780040, W10821710, W10901056, W11027174, W11033491, W11228718, and W11035751.
Quick Answer
The XPARTCO W11130362 Washer Suspension Rod Kit fixes Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore, and Crosley top-load washers with loud banging, rattling, or a "death rattle" noise during spin, excessive tub movement, or a washer that feels unbalanced even after leveling. Complete kit: 4 rods, 4 bushings, 4 suspension balls. Each rod approx. 23" long. Replaces W10594080, W10735786, W10748956, W10780040, W10821710, W10901056, W11027174, W11033491, W11228718, W11035751. Replace all four rods together, even if only one has failed — uneven wear across the set reduces the effectiveness of the whole suspension system.
Common Problems This Part Fixes
Loud banging, knocking, or rattling noise during the spin cycle
Washer tub that moves excessively or bounces during unbalanced loads
Washer that shakes or "walks" even after the unit has been leveled
Persistent rattling noise sometimes described as a "death rattle"
Tub that wobbles noticeably when pushed by hand
Noise that has gradually gotten worse over the years
Washer that seems off-balance even with a properly distributed load

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Washer Before Starting — Replace All Four Rods Together Disconnect power at the outlet and shut off the water supply before beginning. Place a towel underneath the washer to protect the floor from any residual water. Wear work gloves. Open the lid and locate the suspension rod kit connecting the tub to the cabinet. Photograph how each old rod, bushing, and ball connects at both ends before removing anything, since these components are symmetrical around the tub and easy to reverse or mismatch. Use a flathead screwdriver to loosen the screws securing each rod assembly, then carefully pull each one free. Replace all four rods, bushings, and balls together, even if only one position shows obvious wear — the manufacturer specifically advises replacing the full set at once, since uneven wear across the suspension system reduces its overall effectiveness. Install each new rod assembly in the same position, making sure it fits snugly, and tighten the screws securely. Once all four are installed, gently rock the tub by hand to confirm even resistance at each corner before closing the lid. Restore water and power, then run a full spin cycle to confirm the noise and excess movement have resolved. Tools needed: flathead screwdriver, pliers, adjustable wrench, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
My washer has a loud "death rattle" during spin. Will this kit fix it?
Yes, this is one of the most common symptoms this kit resolves. Worn suspension rods, bushings, and balls lose their ability to dampen the tub's movement, and the result is often described as exactly this kind of loud, persistent rattling or banging during spin. Replacing the full suspension system typically restores quiet, stable operation.
Do I really need to replace all four rods, or just the one that's broken?
It's strongly recommended to replace all four together, and it's the manufacturer's own installation guidance for this kit. All four rods are typically the same age and under the same stress, so if one has worn out or broken, the others are likely not far behind. Replacing only one risks leaving the tub unevenly supported and having to repeat this repair again soon.
My washer is off-balance even though it's level and the load looks even. Could this be the cause?
Yes, this is a good sign to check the suspension system. If you bounce or push on the tub by hand and feel excessive movement or hear the tub knock against the cabinet even with a properly distributed load, worn suspension rods are a likely cause rather than a leveling or load-balance issue.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine Whirlpool OEM part, but is manufactured to match the dimensions, materials, and mounting configuration of the original W11130362 suspension rod kit used in compatible Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore, and Crosley top-load washers.

XPARTCO DC31-00187A Washer Drain Pump Motor
The XPARTCO DC31-00187A is an aftermarket replacement washer drain pump motor compatible with select Samsung front-load and top-load washers in the WA4, WA5, WF2, WF3, WF4, and WF5 series, as well as select Kenmore washers built on the Samsung platform. The drain pump motor drives the impeller that expels water from the washer tub during the drain phase of each wash cycle. When the motor fails, the washer will not drain, will leave standing water in the tub, stop mid-cycle, or display error codes 5C, SE, SC, 5E, or SUDS.
This motor-only assembly includes the pump motor, impeller, and replacement O-ring. Rated 120V, 60Hz, 80W, 1.1A (CL.F), with a 30-minute on / 30-minute off duty cycle. Dimensions: 4-1/4"L x 3"W x 4-1/4"H in gray/white/black plastic, metal, and rubber housing. The DC31-00187A is the motor component that installs into the existing pump housing on compatible Samsung washers — the pump housing (DC97-20621C assembly) is reused from the old pump, making this a motor-only swap rather than a complete pump replacement. It directly replaces DC31-00187D, DC31-00178A, DC31-00178D, PX3516-01, 03DC3100187A, 4958525, AP6977256, EAP9605762, PD00056512, PS9605762, and PS1274262. Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Washer and Shut Off Water Before Starting — Wear Gloves Disconnect power and turn off the water supply before beginning. Wear work gloves — there are sharp edges inside the washer cabinet. For front-load models: remove the lower front access panel to expose the pump housing and filter. Drain residual water via the filter drain hose (have a shallow pan ready). Disconnect the wire harness from the motor. On most Samsung front-load models, the motor assembly twists out of the pump housing by rotating counter-clockwise — do not force it. Remove the old motor, note the O-ring position, and install the new O-ring from this kit onto the new DC31-00187A motor. Insert the new motor into the housing and twist clockwise to lock. Reconnect the wire harness. Reinstall the lower panel, restore power and water, and run a drain/spin cycle to confirm drainage. For top-load models: access through the lower front panel or by tilting the washer on its side depending on model. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, pliers, shallow pan, towels, work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between DC31-00187A and DC97-20621C?
The DC31-00187A is the drain pump motor — the electrical component that drives the impeller. The DC97-20621C is the complete drain pump assembly, which includes the motor plus the outer pump housing, hose connection ports, and mounting hardware. When you order the DC31-00187A, you replace only the motor and reuse the existing DC97-20621C pump housing. When you order the DC97-20621C, you replace the entire assembly including the housing. Both resolve the same drain fault — the DC31-00187A is the more targeted repair when the housing is in good condition.
What error codes indicate a drain pump motor failure?
Error codes 5C, SE, SC, 5E, and SUDS on compatible Samsung washers all indicate a drain fault — the washer was unable to drain within the expected time. Before replacing the motor, clean the drain filter/coin trap at the lower front panel. A clogged filter is one of the most common causes of these error codes and does not require motor replacement. If the filter is clear and the codes persist, or if the pump is making loud noise or is completely silent during the drain phase, the motor needs replacement.
What is the difference between DC31-00187A and DC31-00178A?
These are cross-references for the same or very similar Samsung drain pump motor used across different Samsung washer generations. The DC31-00178A was used on earlier Samsung models and the DC31-00187A is the current version. Both are commonly listed as interchangeable replacements for each other in Samsung washer drain pump repair. The DC31-00187D and DC31-00178D are also variants of the same motor from different production runs.
Should I clean the filter before replacing the pump motor?
Yes — always check and clean the drain filter first. On Samsung front-load washers, the filter is accessible behind the lower front kick panel, typically on the right side — remove the cap slowly and drain water into a shallow pan first. Lint, coins, debris, and hair are very common causes of Samsung drain error codes that are completely resolved by cleaning the filter without any parts replacement. If the filter is clear and the error codes persist, the pump motor is the next component to replace.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine Samsung OEM part, but is manufactured to match the electrical specifications and performance of the original DC31-00187A drain pump motor.

XPARTCO 8318084 Washer Lid Switch Replaces WP8318084
The XPARTCO 8318084 is an aftermarket replacement lid switch assembly compatible with a wide range of Whirlpool, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Roper, Estate, Maytag, Amana, Magic Chef, Crosley, and Admiral direct-drive top-load washing machines. The lid switch is a safety component located under the control panel at the top rear left corner of the washer — it detects whether the lid is open or closed and prevents the washer from spinning and agitating when the lid is open. When the lid is closed, the switch signals the control that it's safe to operate. Without a functioning lid switch, the washer may refuse to start, won't spin, won't agitate, won't drain, or stop advancing through its cycle.
Gray and white plastic housing. Electrical rating: 125–250V, 50–60Hz, 1/2 HP. Dimensions: 3"L x 2"W x 1-15/16"H. ⚠️ Unplug Washer Before Starting — Wear Work Gloves Disconnect power before beginning. Wear work gloves to protect your hands. The lid switch is located under the control panel at the top rear left corner of the washer. To access it, you'll need to remove the control panel: on most direct-drive washers, use a putty knife or flat-blade screwdriver to release the spring clips at the bottom edge of the control panel (typically two clips), then flip the control panel up and back on its hinges to rest against the wall behind the washer. You should now see the lid switch mounted on the left side with two screws. Photograph the wiring before disconnecting. Unplug the wiring harness from the 3 flat terminals on the old lid switch — note how the harness connects. Remove the two mounting screws holding the old switch in place. Also disconnect the green grounding wire (it's attached separately with its own screw). Remove the old switch. Install the new 8318084 switch in the same position using the two mounting screws. Reconnect the green grounding wire with its screw. Plug the wiring harness back onto the 3 flat terminals, matching your photos. Flip the control panel back down and press it into place until the spring clips snap. Plug the washer back in and test by closing the lid and running a cycle — confirm the washer starts, agitates, spins, and drains. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, putty knife or flat-blade screwdriver (for spring clips), work gloves.
Frequently Asked Questions
My washer won't spin but still fills — is the lid switch the problem?
Very likely, yes. On direct-drive top-load washers, the lid switch is a safety interlock that prevents spinning and agitating when the lid is open. When the switch fails, the control never receives the "lid closed" signal, so it blocks the spin (and often the agitate and drain) as a safety measure — but filling still works because that doesn't require the lid interlock. If your washer fills but won't advance past that point, or agitates but refuses to spin, the lid switch is the prime suspect. You can confirm by testing the switch for continuity with a multimeter when the lever is pressed — a working switch shows continuity when activated.
Why would a bad lid switch cause a burning smell?
This happens when the motor tries to engage but the lid switch isn't signaling correctly, causing the motor to stall or repeatedly attempt to start without completing the cycle. A stalling direct-drive motor generates heat that produces a burning smell. If you notice a burning smell AND the washer isn't spinning or agitating properly, check the lid switch first — it's far more likely (and cheaper) than a motor failure. If the burning smell continues after replacing the switch, have the motor and motor coupling inspected by a technician.
What's the difference between 8318084 and WP8318084?
These are the same lid switch across production revisions. 8318084 was the original part number and WP8318084 is the Whirlpool-era part number (with the "WP" prefix Whirlpool adopted). WP8318084VP is a variant packaging code. All are physically and functionally identical — if your washer's parts diagram shows any of these numbers, this listing is the correct replacement. The many additional cross-references (AP3180933, AP6012742, ES8084, PS886960, PS11745957, etc.) are catalog identifiers from various parts distributors for the same switch.
Does this fit my stacked laundry center or front-load washer?
No — the 8318084 is specifically designed for standalone direct-drive top-load washers on the Whirlpool platform. Stacked washer/dryer laundry centers use different lid switch part numbers (such as the 3355806 for Whirlpool thin twin units), and front-load washers use door lock assemblies instead of lid switches. Always search by your appliance's model number to confirm the correct part. Contact our support team with your model number if you're unsure which switch fits your machine.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine Whirlpool OEM part, but is manufactured to match the electrical specifications (125–250V, 50–60Hz, 1/2 HP), dimensions (3"L x 2"W x 1-15/16"H), 3-flat-terminal configuration, grounding wire, and lid-detection function of the original WP8318084 lid switch used in compatible Whirlpool, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Roper, Estate, Maytag, Amana, and related direct-drive top-load washers.

XPARTCO AJU75152602 Washer Water Inlet Valve
The XPARTCO AJU75152602 is an aftermarket replacement washer water inlet valve assembly compatible with select LG and Kenmore top-load washers in the larger-capacity WT7 series — including the WT7060, WT7100, WT7150, WT7155, WT7250, WT7300, WT7305, WT7400, WT7405, WT7800, WT7880, and WT7900 series. The water inlet valve is a multi-port solenoid valve mounted on the back of the washer that controls the flow of hot and cold water into the tub and dispenser compartments during fill and rinse cycles. When any valve port fails, the washer may not fill at all, fill too slowly, fill with the wrong water temperature, overfill, or leak from the valve body.
This valve assembly directly replaces 5221EA1008S, 4873914, AP6335382, EAP12580369, PS12580369, and PD00060681. It includes two integrated inlet screens to filter debris from the supply lines. Installs in 15–25 minutes with basic hand tools. Note: the AJU75152602 is for the WT7xxx larger-capacity LG top-load series — it is not the same valve as the AJU75152601, which is used on the earlier and smaller-capacity WT1xxx through WT5xxx series. Verify your model number before ordering.

Installation Notes
⚠️ Unplug Washer and Shut Off Water Before Starting Disconnect power and turn off both the hot and cold water supply valves before beginning. Pull the washer away from the wall to access the back panel. The water inlet valve is mounted on the upper rear of the washer. Photograph all wire harness connections and hose positions before disconnecting. Disconnect the two external supply hoses from the valve inlet ports. Disconnect the internal outlet hoses by squeezing the retaining clips and pulling free. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from each solenoid port. Unscrew the mounting screws and remove the old valve. Install the new AJU75152602 valve in the same position, reconnect all internal hoses, wire harnesses, and external supply hoses in the documented positions. Restore water supply and power, then run a fill cycle to verify normal filling and check for leaks. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, pliers.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between AJU75152602 and AJU75152601?
These are two different water inlet valve assemblies for different generations of LG top-load washers. The AJU75152601 (which also replaces AJU73213301 and 5221EA1008F) is used on LG's earlier and smaller-capacity top-load washers in the WT1xxx, WT4xxx, and WT5xxx series. The AJU75152602 (which replaces 5221EA1008S) is for LG's larger-capacity WT7xxx series. Despite appearing similar, they have different port configurations and are not interchangeable. Always verify your specific model number before ordering.
How do I know if the water inlet valve has failed?
Common signs are the washer not filling, filling only on one temperature setting, overfilling, dripping between cycles, or leaking from the valve area. Before replacing the valve, check that both supply valves are fully open and the hoses are not kinked. You can test each solenoid coil with a multimeter — a working coil shows resistance (typically 200–500 ohms); an open circuit confirms that coil has failed. Also inspect and clean the inlet screens inside the supply port openings — mineral-clogged screens can restrict flow enough to cause the same symptoms as a failed valve.
What are the two inlet screens included with the valve?
The two mesh screens that come with the AJU75152602 install inside the hot and cold water inlet ports of the valve. They catch sediment, mineral particles, and debris from the household water supply before they can reach the solenoid valve seats. Installing fresh screens along with the new valve helps extend the valve's service life, especially in areas with hard water. If the previous valve failed due to mineral buildup rather than an electrical fault, cleaning the supply hoses before installation is also recommended.
My LG WT7300CW is only filling with cold water — is this the valve?
Filling with only cold water on a warm or hot cycle is a classic sign that the hot water solenoid coil on the inlet valve has failed. Each temperature port is controlled by its own independent solenoid — when the hot solenoid fails, only the cold port opens. Before replacing the valve, also confirm that the household hot water supply valve is fully open and that hot water is reaching the back of the washer in the supply hose. If hot water supply is confirmed and the cold-only fill persists, replace the AJU75152602 valve.
Is this an OEM or aftermarket part?
This is an aftermarket replacement part built to OEM-equivalent quality standards. It is not a genuine LG OEM part, but is manufactured from ABS plastic and stainless steel to match the port configuration and specifications of the original AJU75152602 water inlet valve assembly.
