Release the drive belt from the idler pulley, lift the drum forward, and set it aside. The rear drum support rollers are mounted on shafts on the rear bulkhead — each roller is secured with a tri-ring clip and a retaining washer. Use needle-nose pliers to remove the old tri-ring clips, then slide the old rollers off the shafts. Install the new rollers, new retaining washers, and new tri-ring clips on the shafts. Reinstall the drum, re-route the belt around the motor and idler pulley, and reassemble the front and top panels. Restore power and run a test cycle to verify quiet, smooth drum operation. Tip: while the dryer is open, inspect and replace the drum belt (341241) and idler pulley (691366 or 279640) if worn.
