Gently pry off or unscrew the light lens cover to expose the light board behind it. Carefully disconnect the old light board from its electrical connector. Remove the old board and insert the new WR55X26671 in the same orientation, pressing it into its housing until it seats securely. Reconnect the electrical connector. Reinstall the light lens cover. Restore power and open the door to confirm the new light board illuminates correctly. Tools needed: None in most cases; a small flat-head screwdriver may help with the lens cover on some models.
