⚠️ Unplug Power and Expect Water Unplug the washer and turn off the water supply before starting. Remove the lower front panel to reach the pump at the base of the washer, then drain any residual water into a shallow pan or with a wet/dry vacuum, using the drain hose or the small drain cap if your model has one. Disconnect the wiring harness from the pump, then loosen the clamps holding the hoses and pull the hoses off. Remove the pump's mounting screw and take out the old pump. Fit the new pump in the same position, reattach the hoses with the clamps (replace worn clamps if needed), and reconnect the wiring harness. Check that the pump and hose connections are secure, replace the front panel, restore power and water, and run a drain cycle while checking for leaks. Common tools include a nutdriver or Torx driver, screwdrivers, and pliers.
